You're not.

I hope to avoid PvP altogether and avoid player deaths, but… I really can't see this ending with every one of us alive. Murdering the local priest, regardless of what he was planning for Branwen, isn't something the party can walk away from. I'm guessing that, since Baldy is with Gisla, she believes her that the party is not responsible for Ankari's action. (I wonder if she'd have taken Baldy's word if not for Nissa, even with a public oath to their goddess.)

There was one no-death possibility that I had anticipated, but… if it's not too late for that already, it's highly unlikely such a choice would be made.

That's true. It's pretty much inevitable that Ankari will die, I think. I'm not sure if the company thinks highly enough of him now to attempt a prison break; they mostly seem to have branded him a traitor. And for the record, Cadell has too.

I just hope player!Ankari doesn't mind. XD Though, he must have known the risk when he had his character act, so...

I'm afraid it will end upon the others anyway. Be ready to flee? =P

P.s.: Mauve isn't with Baldhart and Gisla anymore, somehow she got delayed. :D

Well, for what it's worth, if he gets the chance, Cadell IS going to plead again, "don't condemn our whole group for the stupidity of one guy". He's nice like that. XD

Perhaps she tried to push a peasant with her left side and due her blind spot she missed him, eating some dirt instead after pushing the air? Oh, so many possibilities!

With a one, maybe she tried to push him, tripped, stuck her spear out to balance herself, accidentally impaling the peasant, then fell anyway and tore her eye patch loose.

Good thing the spear is at the smith's.

But maybe she used the stone knife to balance herself, accidentally stabbing the peasant AND turning him into a fish demon.

I'm thinking that just about the time the party is fully engaged at the temple is when the fish demon army comes swarming up the stairs from the sea, and the gnolls and goblins pour in from the forest :D

Any chance one of the gnolls murders the fish demon captain without the consent of the alpha while a goblin steals the warg mount of another and Elven Fonz jumps his motorcycle over a fish demon's shark mount, resulting in so much in-fighting anybody can just attack whoever?

Nihal

Valar Lord
Hahahah! Yeah, she's not with her spear, I guess we'll have to use the stone knife instead. Aw, I can't thank any poster right now! D:

About the fishes army... what if I told you she actually considered attempting to lure them to the town? It would take too long and they don't have time, so she went with a different plan for now. This particular hell will have to wait. :<

Is everyone determined to get the whole party killed, or is it just Ankari and Mauve (and the villagers)? XD

Nihal

Valar Lord
You don't know yet her new ploy... Quite frankly, there isn't much she can do that would make their situation any worse. xD

*secretly rooting for Ankari to get out the window before Baldhart's inside*

C'mon, slack-jawed peasants. Waste time with not-helpful dialogue while Ankari runs like the wind.

We all know what'll happen if Ankari escapes. Either the villagers will lynch him and the rest of the company, or Baldy will hunt Ankari down and gut him like a fish.

Actually, the chances of the villagers turning on our characters is high in any case. You're underestimating their fear of the different and unknown.
