He can make it out.

Good to know! Thanks!

Question... would Ankari's bodyslam into Cadell have done any damage? For RP purposes I've mentioned Cadell's ribs being very sore, but I wasn't sure if anything worse would happen. It's not like Ankari stabbed him or anything.

Truth to be told Mauve would love to see that priest dead. However, she also wants to sleep, get her spear back (no way she'll leave it behind!), and you know... not be burned at the stake.
The real winner of this fight is the smith if we need to leave town. Over 100G and two used armor shirts, and he gets to keep the funky spear and wonder what the one-eyed temptress' fighting style was… and why she wasn't at the waterfront, dammit!

It'll be a few rounds before anyone at the Maiden's Spear could know what is happening.

What if I have Liadan following Cadell out after the meeting, as she debated doing? Would she be able to hear what's going on, or see Cadell leave the temple?

No way she will leave her spear behind in this situation. I'm not kidding! xD

I think Cadell and Ankari are a bit behind that on the timeline. Technically, what they're doing should be happening shortly after the left the inn. Although there's no way for the timeline to match up again 100%, let's let a few rounds play out there at the temple first, since time has elapsed.

I'm still in the process, actually. ^^ Still staying at the old house for now, since not all our furniture and stuff is ready for the new house yet. I won't be officially moved in until sometime this weekend or next week. I'll let you know how it goes! :D

I think when you play chaotic good, you may lean toward just plain chaotic or just plain good in some situations. You could argue the red text applies here, but Ankari has no reason to think Geralt's a good man as he intends to burn a little girl to death. Baldy wouldn't condone this act because she doesn't see how the priest can be attacked without getting attention and involving others, like Gisla.

I have thoughts about what to do, but I'll keep 'em to myself until I can act in-character and know what she knows.

This is how I am thinking it through Ankari's filter. He sees a priest, someone belonging to a system he already had a problem with, want to burn a girl for being different than him. To Ankari, this man is evil. Throw in the fact that she belongs to his company, it's on.

I don't think that blow hit the priest, unfortunately. Shame, really... max damage is a horrible thing to waste.

Edit: I reread the combat thread recently, and apparently we're supposed to add our STR modifier to damage rolls for melee attacks. It hasn't affected Cadell's rolls, since he has no STR mod, but I'm curious as to how many of us have remembered to do that. XD

The text you highlighted is from the chaotic neutral alignment, not from chaotic good.

I hate to leave now, but I need sleep. I'll be back online in the morning, at least for a bit. ^^ Goodnight!

Ranger down! (Everquest joke)

Seriously, no matter what dice rolling site I use, I'm lucky to break the median on any die!

Yeah, your luck with the online die rollers doesn't seem to be good. Are you any luckier with real dice?

Hey Steer,

Let me know when we should end the string of attacks to give the other members time to react. If they have enough time to, of course.
