Cadell is at the inn now, as is the villager who is running to get Gisla, so now is a good time to let the others get some reactions in.

This is how I am thinking it through Ankari's filter. He sees a priest, someone belonging to a system he already had a problem with, want to burn a girl for being different than him. To Ankari, this man is evil. Throw in the fact that she belongs to his company, it's on.
I don't have a problem with that, nor does my character…

no reason to think Geralt's a good man as he intends to burn a little girl to death.
…unless Ankari lets Geralt live.

((OK, let's assume people at the Spear hear Cadell. Commotion is already starting in town as well. A number of villagers are heading toward the temple of Tyr, thanks to the earlier cries from that direction and the initial villagers who spread out to get help. One of them is just behind Cadell, on his way to get Gisla, and is shouting for her)).
Should we assume that Gisla will head out the door with Baldhart, Mauve, and whoever else reacts? Just want to make sure we're clear on who is around us, in case anyone attempts to whisper plans once Cadell gives the news.

…not that we'll have to assume, since a GM post would come up before we can act again.

Baldhart's reaction was perfectly reasonable and could have been kept. She should get her chance to react to the events.

Well, she only stopped Cadell because he wasn't saying why we had to leave. His edit ninja'd my edit, so I had to have Baldy react to the information.

When I posted the STR check, Ankari was never mentioned and Baldy was confused.

I think I need a refresher to my memory regarding who's where in the inn when Cadell returns, so I know whom he can speak to directly from upstairs.

Burnbright, Branwen and Masama are upstairs for sure. I don't know what was made of Aliron and Bressel. Aldar was eating in the common room the last time I read about him, might be in his room. Baldhart was in the common room. Mauve is running in the night. Keitsumah was in the woods with her wolf.

I hate to tell this because I don't want Burnbright in this mess... but after done detecting magic Mauve left the necklace and the knife by the girl's bed. :<

Bressel is downstairs, I think. Aliron went up, and I don't recall if he came back down or not :)

Bressel was still downstairs not having to leave early, he was enjoying the bar, Aliron was heading to his room or nearly asleep for the early escape in the morning.

I think I said Bressel went down stairs and out, so I could edit or just assume he followed Cadell up the stairs to hear the news.

Anyone leaving town should get word to Aliron or he will be gone with Masama and Branwen.
I figured Burnbright would stay, I also assume the people staying will make sure Burnbright is not left unguarded.

Question: From outside, how close to the temple would someone need to be to see inside it? Are there any elevated points around, crates—anything Mauve could climb to get to see the people inside?

Not much elevated around it. There are windows you can look through, and also the front door. No one in the party has been around back to see what is behind the temple.

Am I the only one who really hopes Ankari is put on trial, and not executed right away, so people have a chance to hear more than one side of the story and maybe people can escape with their lives? I think it would be a fascinating opportunity for the company to make known what they really think of him, if they're called upon to testify. I'm dead certain Cadell will be, since he's the only eyewitness to the prelude to the fight.
