This is my first weekday off in weeks, so I'll be running some errands today. Should start that sooner rather than later. That'll give people a chance to post without me ninja-ing them, at least. XD
Well, I ate in my room, but just to read. So my lack of posts for the next couple hours should decrease your chance of getting ninja'd.
Did we steal explosives? Nissa going on a bombing mission might be fun, though I doubt she'll kill anybody. I'm not sure if the party wants her to make the attempt. The question is: would lizards follow her when she's holding a torch? The other question is... for later. I need to make my Pavlovian response to the bell.

I've been really really busy last week or so and I've started my driving lessons now, although I try to at least keep track of what is being posted, I often find myself with only a (dying) cellphone, like now. I really hate to post from cellphones, so...

Hallway is 200 ft...may have to hide near the debris, but the debris is probably soaked in oil also.
Maybe just have Nissa leave a torch near the room, draw them in and then double back with torch? They would not expect a living being to sacrifice themselves as such.
So when she grabbed the torch they might rush her to prevent her from throwing it in the room.

Well, catch up when you can, of course. Good luck with driving. My wife learned to drive in her early 30s, and now she's a better driver than most Massachusetts drivers.

The catch: Nissa needs to be close to fire or she dematerializes.

Its to far to shoot for my long bow without getting next to a flamable mound in the hallway, with a flaming arrow and enemy, I don't think it meets safety standards for Aliron.
Do we have a hooded lantern? They don't realize there is a source of fire inside? But we lose the lantern to fire though.

Going to take care of things via PM. As you know, Ankari and Aliron went back to the apparently-trapped corridor as Cadell went through the Gate. Depending on what they do there, it could have quite an effect on things going on by the Gate.
Oh... I thought Alin was in the room with us. Okay--deleted my latest post (thus DE-ninja'ing Ireth - YAY!) since I need info from Aliron. I'll just stay put in-game and go home in real life, since I'm done making the rest of my exam. (YAY!)

Well, I think he is by the time Cadell comes back. He and Ankari left an hour prior to that, and we're dealing with that time period by PM. Whatever they're doing is happening while Cadell is gone. Presumably Aliron is back in the room by the time Cadell returns, unless something dramatic happens with their adventure into the hallway.

@Mauve Here's the info Steerpike gave me via PM about the three spells:
1) Arnhoult's Retrotropic Conversion. In reading through the notes, this spell seems to be directed toward countering magical effects, though exactly how that manifests, and for how long, is unclear.
2) Edan's Minor Thaumaturgic Poultice. Appears to be some sort of healing spell.
3) The First Vital Abatement. This spell appears to harm the target by drawing energy from them.
