Okay. I might just do that, since my editing window is half-closed and I have a lot of copying and pasting to do. I'll have to divide this up between a few posts. XD

Argh! Damn day job!

I only read Cadell's first post, but need to wait 45 minutes before I can read the second. So far, very interesting! I can't wait for my class to end so I can read the other half!


45+ minutes later...

Awesome! And now we're in even better shape, healer-wise. So... is she a cleric, or is she a sidekick like Nissa who's not quite up to the level of a normal character?

So many questions for Liadan! Though right now, Baldy's only asking her "where the hell are you?"

...and Mum said there was nothing productive in choking the lizard...

Aliron and his filthy thoughts made me laugh. One of those snort laughs, too. Good thing the teachers and students in the next room didn't hear me.

What if a really loud barbarian (who failed to consider hostiles can hear her too) calls her name. Would that help?

It flowed out as I wrote it, I think that's what makes it so much the funnier. I did lol when I read how I worded it, then added Alliron's reaction.

Liadan is coming, but she hasn't reached the gate yet. She'll get there in my next post, which I'm working on now. ^^

No one followed Cadell as far as our characters can tell. I told Ireth my prediction last night, so Baldy was expecting to meet Liadan one way or another, which is why she was so supportive of Cadell's desire to enter the gate even when she was ready to call Nissa into action.

Baldy believes that she would follow if she were in Liadan's situation, even if Cadell wasn't in danger. So she's venturing out there to see if she's right, hoping that Nissa can distract an army (hence the torch), should a hostile group that's more than she can handle stand in her way. She's not very far from the gate, should she need to run.

I hadn't thought Baldhart was still visible from the Gate. Looks like I need to edit in a reaction from Cadell. ^^;

Also, Keit, you are VERY wrong. Liadan is NOT the queen; she is only a healer. The queen's name is Brigh, and she has no intention of following Cadell. Not to mention that Líadan is younger than Cadell, though they look about the same age physically.

The ranger, the dwarf and I did something while Cadell was busy irritating the queen.
So I will be trying to post in two times without contradicting the future. I have already, since I am going after a barrel of flammables that I mentioned after Cadell returned.
hmmm,
burn lizards or the queens guard chasing a fugitive...It should come in handy.

Okay, I'm in the midst of editing my post to let Cadell react to Liadan's appearance, so nobody move until I'm done!

Severin, I've already said the guards aren't coming, so sorry to disappoint. XD

I saw that you posted the queen would not follow, but I didn't see that she would not send someone else after Cadell.
Oh well, I hate killing Elves if I don't have too.

I didn't either, but location is vague so maybe Baldy and Liadan are specks in the distance and Keit's watchful eye caught that. Cadell's still in that bewildered state adn doesn't quite process that Baldy's no longer alone... until the next post.

That's the no-more-edit solution I suggest.


Off to lunch. Hope to see a ton of posts when I check back ~3:00. (Thank God I printed out most of my final exams yesterday so I can afford to goof off so much today! Exams are tomorrow, so this was the best day of the week for all this character interaction.)
