Rolz is trying to kill me! D= Good thing Diana can come back from the dead... Vincent isn't so lucky though.

Could be worse.

Take George, for example:

JRFlynn, you don't need to add the food bonus or anything to your roll. Just roll the d20 as it is, and let LS handle the rest. :)

I think JRF was trying to type "stomp!" and the die did something funny. But the d20 part came up 11, so I'll take it.

@JRF, to type "words" with your roll, roll this:

1d20 #words

I watched Wreck-It Ralph last night. Now my daughters know who M. Bison is…

He's the guy who can't "do snacks next week" at Clyde's Bad Guy support group.

He introduces the term "Going Turbo."

And he's the only Street Fighter bad guy in the movie.

Really, Zangeif? Would a bad guy do THIS?

I'm more and more intrigued as to what the St. Patrick's Day bonus is going to be. :D The luck o' the Irish, perhaps? +9 to every attack roll? (Not an arbitrary number -- 3 is a magical number in Irish lore, so 3x3 would be even more lucky!) Just enough to make a critical failure into a normal attack, too.

EDIT: Maybe the bonus could last for three rounds. I realize "every attack roll" is a bit of a goof in wording on my part. Let's not get TOO lucky!

Vincent seems to have vanished from the map. Is he hidden behind the aquamarine-haired orc?

He's hidden behind someone much bigger than an orc. I just noticed how well his coat matches the yellow leaves of Riff's leggings.

I meant to move him so his face would be visible, but in all the confusion, I did not. That's why I was compelled to have a little message at the bottom of the screen letting you know how many died, and that the ones that aren't dead aren't hurt either.

According to Japanese friends, it's Girl's Day. According to GRRM, Maiden's Day is a thing. I combined them. You got free stuff. Players who only have male characters don't know what they got. But they got something.

Speaking of something, the dice show aqua-orc (whose superpower is talking to fish) rolled a 13. Seeing how he just saw his friend get squished, it didn't make sense for him to attack. When I posted, I actually misread his roll as 8 (that's green's roll), but when I caught the error I decided not to edit. It just makes more sense that he loses the attack opportunity because he's focused on getting the hell out of Riff's way.

Only yellow, green and indigo actually attacked. Riff was hit (hard), but she didn't feel any pain.

Still waiting for Phil and JRF to post (no rush intended), but I just thought I'd show you a snap shot of the current turn. I like the indigo orc being burnt bald, but… my guess is that you won't see that on the GM turn unless Riff rolls REALLY low.

Note: Eventually I'll have stances for lowered/sheathed weapons. For now, you have to imagine that to be the case. I appreciate the RP'ing with the monster. Whether you want to attack or keep attempting to calm him is up to you, but I won't give him another attack turn until Wednesday (sooner only if everyone responds), since he did technically attack the party. Only defensive shields were harmed.

Well, Vincent seems intent on trying to talk the monster down, at least. Can't speak for anyone else, though.

I'll post Barney's next move tomorrow.

For the record, Vincent's attack was fire-based, so you'll see the results of a fire attack. I appreciate the RP so I won't give away weaknesses. Just know that I won't ever have a fight where some players are totally useless. Yes, fire and lightning will do more to a monster made of hay and grappling a creature that big will do nothing... but bladed weapons can still inflict damage.

I'll realistically reward players who are creative and come up with ideas I failed to consider, such as Jei's use of a jay arrow. So, yes, JRF, that's a hit. You'll also see that sidekicks are sometimes receptive to suggestions.
