[Legendary Sidekick]

Baldy might want to go outside. She's more concerned about the gnolls than the villagers, especially since she has an earlier watch.

So far, it came up as:

1st: Aldar, Cadell
2nd: Liadan, Baldy
Last: Mauve, Aliron

…but I don't know about 3rd, 4th, or how many.



Also, we have Baldy, Mauve, Alin and Liadan in Baldy's room now. (Note to other players: Burnbright went to bed after meeting Nissa.) Considering the teleporting discussion above, should anyone else coming in 'knock first' rather than just 'be there?'

OK, sounds good. I'll let the current conversations continue, but I'm going to try to move ahead to night time at some point today. I can handle some of the other events through PM if necessary. If Baldy is going to patrol outside at all, let me know. Masama has his own room to sleep in, as do Grim and his wife. The rest of you can share rooms or not as you see fit. Burnbright is sleeping in Baldhart's room. Where will Branwen stay? I apologize if that was stated in the thread and I overlooked it. Trying to get caught up on all the posts, and I think I have...

Wait, is Burnbright sleeping? So, Mauve didn't botch another 2 spells?

About Branwen if it depends on Mauve she'll be staying in Baldhart's room.

P.s.: After days of the same RP at the same place, after many characters not going to the same place at the same time, it's not like anyone did not have the opportunity to enter the room RPing properly. So, yes, knock.

Let's try to get back to a more linear order. Right now, Cadell and Ankari are still out, everyone else is in the inn, and just assume you're in the place where you were last posting and go from there.

Yes, Baldy will go outside. She'll ask Liadan to accompany her on the walks, as she thinks elven ears and eyes are considerably better* than hers, but she'll go on patrol anyway since she's afraid she'll doze off if she sits in one place on watch.

*(She has a newfound respect for elven senses after her stealth mission.)


Also, as much as I'd love to not get hit by an 11 or 12, Baldy's AC is currently 10. She's wearing her old leather until her breastplate is ready.

EDIT - She's also wearing two magic items: the ring (mostly because she'll freeze in her new dress) and the necklace (which we still don't know what it protects from)

@Nihal, just finished my play-by-PM late last night, which ends very well for Burnbright. She goes to bed, and Baldy's not worried about her at all—which she would have been after the teary-eyed start—so she just lets the kid sleep.

I need to know if Burnbright left her things to Mauve test to know if her attempts happened or not and act accordingly.


P.S.: I guess Cadell was one of the few polite characters to not bring a weapon to dinner. Mauve had 2 daggers on her.

Aliron doesn't go anywhere without weapons. visible and hidden.
Guess its a Knight thing.
If Aliron can stay with Masama, Branwen can sleep there.
If not then she should sleep with Mauve and Baldhart. All the dangerous females in one room. Branwen, Burnbright,Baldhart, and Mauve.

Except it's been made abundantly clear that Cadell isn't a knight anymore, and he doesn't really see himself as such either. I think it's more of a "Cadell thing". XD

Baldy ate dinner unarmed only because she thinks the old cloak doesn't look good wither her new white dress and… stinky boots and blood-soaked leather. If only she listened to Mother when she tried to teach the girl how to accessorize!

Yes, lets say she left them. That works best with what has been posted in the main thread. There's no reason Burnbright wouldn't do so.

Uh……… I mean worse. Sorry. Didn't expect to get a natural 20. It distracted me from my point, whatever it was.

I think it was that Cadell's way is best, despite the lack of splinters and people flying through the air and that satisfying crunch.

I wish Ankari had shared his actions with others. I could be there to silence the priest.
But that does seem to be Ankari's character.

If there is time, Bressel will hunt berries in the morning.

I do wonder if we won't be changing plans very quickly. I hope who ever is on watch notices the trouble at the temple.
we will have to decide how to handle it quickly.

Violent...why are elves so violent? I have reasons but a loner forest ranger?

I guess if Liadan wanders outside, she'll notice. Baldy's writing a letter then going to Gisla, and Gisla will lead Baldy somewhere. Huh… that means it's possible Baldy and Gisla will both see it, depending on the route taken.

So we're clear, Baldy does have her scimitar back now, right? She let Bressel borrow it while swimming since his axe is not a good weapon to bring on a swim. If not, Baldy will ask Bressel for it as she leaves with Gisla. She wants Gisla to have more than a boot knife if wargs and gnolls attack.
