Addison's hoping to catch Loke's kinder, gentler side through Snorri's eyes. What could possibly go wrong?

MystagogueI did consider the possibility Addy would see more than she'd want to (and probably be trapped in the vision, especially since she's pushing herself when she should be resting completely). She gets to see Loke peeing again?

IstariHe'll likely figure it out, as there's a side effect when linking with beasts (for the untrained). Addison will take on the behavior of the animal. The gytrash died feeling fear and pain, which is why Addy freaked out. The fox is curious, so Addison will interrupt like an uninhibited child and ask if she thinks someone might have an answer. No one has an answer to fire, so she just stares at it.If Farrun knew what she was doing, he'd probably shout at her! He'll be having a talk with her on the morrow, at any rate

Dark LordErm, so I never really thought of the gytrashes as very sapient. They don't create or orchestrate what people see, it's more like they have natural hallucinogenic magic. And they don't become people or speak through the vision--they don't speak at all, they don't have that level of intelligence. I thought you were just being especially meta with Bendalitz's imagination, there?
Naturally, Bendalitz is free to speculate, but I think the root explanation needs to come from his brain, not from the gytrash.
Dark LordAh, good! So my first assumption was correct--Bendalitz's brain is meta as f*ckNaturally. Bendalitz will try to reach for convoluted explanations and possibilities in everything. That's one of his main habits. The idea of having gyrates on his side is attractive, even if it's a pointless and unfounded belief that it's possible.
