When I've got two characters going in an rp, I'll often put them in the same post with "--" or a similar page break... But yeah, I'll double-post if the timing calls for it!

Not sure which yellow-brick road character Farrun would be, but something tells me he's in a mood to sing "If I only had a brain" right about now. Angrily.

Phewwww, done with Einan's gytrash.

I bet he could qualify as the Scarecrow right about now, what with having a concussion and all. And also an injured arm. I haven't yet decided how bad that injury should be.

I'm not going to be able to post until late tonight, but Farrun will go into medic mode then!

Addison will be purposefully trudging toward camp. I expect that Farrun can easily catch up to her and apply healing, and she'll be compliant and remain still for him—though she'll also continue attempting to use her beast-speaking ability to sense gytrashes on the way to camp.

Maybe she should be carried, but she wouldn't ask for that as long as her feet can carry her.

I suspect Einan is the annoying sort who insist they're fine, even if half their intestines are hanging out. Once he's over the initial shock of his wounds, he'll probably give Farrun a hard time.

I didn't confirm whether Addison found (through the bird's/gytrash's eye) Rikhard or Bendalitz. I figure Gryphos or Ireth can post to confirm that.

Farina would likely see Addison unconscious. The air around her is probably electrically charged, or would be in the moment she makes contact.



Also, Addison's successful link happens the moment that Farrun heals her. I'm thinking the healing touch gives her a surge of strength, allowing her to exert herself with pay-off (which she'll pay back later).

LS, I think it may be a little much to have Addison be able to control the gytrash, at that distance, considering that she's still mostly untrained and she's already used quite a bit of energy--and the fact that these are magical psychic dogs, so they'd probably have some mental strength or defenses.

I don't know if you need to edit your post, necessarily, but I think that she should either be thrown out of its mind, or it turns the tables and subjects her to hallucinations again. And she might be suffering from a lot of burnout after that--at this stage in her powers that would be a "one step too far" sort of thing to attempt.

Glad you like it. I thought this would be more interesting than Addy simply doing nothing, even if doing nothing would benefit her more.

Nothing happens to Rikhard. Addy's hallucinating.

But my daughter is sick so I need to go to her school and pick her up, so I just posted what I had rather than add one more line to explain she's hallucinating. All Addy did was get the dog to make a stupid bark, then he messed with her mind.

I don't know what to post. Neither Troia nor Einan are doing anything interesting at the moment, and frankly I don't see what they could do. Any suggestions?

Probably best to just skip straight to the camp. At least then there are horses to tend, weapons to clean, a fire to build.

I'll check in every now and then to see if Addison should wake up… maybe to the scent of freshly cooked buck meat?

I felt like Addison could use a dream sequence to snap her back into reality. Well, no, that's BS. I just wanted an excuse to write Addy's younger days. I thought I'd refer to younger Addison as "Addy" in the narrative.

I intended for that last post to mean they were back at the campsite, but here's a better one. Sorry I didn't get that up earlier, but I had a heck of a weekend again. I should get an introvert punchcard that entitles me to a weekend of hermitage-like solitude after enough weekends out...

Is Addison Dorothy?

So……… we had this Wizard of Oz thing going, and today I drew the four party members from my Awesome Warrior story. Then I thought of Addy being Dorothy, and, well… just look at the picture. There's no question of who would be Scarecrow, Tin Man and Lion. I can't unsee it.
