Keitsumah

Grandmaster
Dayum how much health does this thing have? if Keit can get the kids out she's going to yell for everyone to get away from the middle. Not sure if doing the spell would collapse only a small portion or the whole room.

The spell has a fifty foot radius. As for how much weak ceiling there is, well… I guess that would be a factor. Hopefully, if you center the spell over the witch, it would fall on her first while everyone has time to run.

Baldhart tells the witch she is dying, but of course she doesn't know that. Masama seems to have opened up quite a wound, so I'd like to think we're close to finishing her.

23 damage in the first attack. If Masama's axe and Cadell's recently-fired arrow are the only hits since the lights went back on, it's 39 damage now. That's a lot for a magic user, but of course the giant spider form likely adds HP in addition to other physical enhancements. My optimistic guess is 50 HP. How long it'll take to do another 11 damage depends on how many archers can roll high enough to penetrate the hardened skin.

If Bressel is level 1, that DEX save was the difference between low HP and no HP. You rolled 16, but it's 20 with the P.I. skill.

You might want a STR check with that grappling hook. I don't know if the spider-lady can be pulled down, or if the rope has a restraint effect (no DEX and/or AC penalty), or what. Baldhart was just blurting out that word hoping someone would take the hint.

FYI, I have yet to see a Zoran post, but I happened to go into Rolz after he rolled his save—so I know all the good guys only took 10 damage (I mean other than that poor kobold)!

(Here's hoping Zoran's luck with the bow is as good…)

Baldhart is confident that a valkyrie can. She doesn't know that for certain, but it seems to be a reasonable expectation.

(Nissa's sleeping, but Zoran would have noticed Nissa's white wings and that she was actually flying in battle.)

I'm not sure what Liadan could accomplish with regards to the knife, if anything, but she'd be willing to try. Possibly after making sure our allies are healed.

Ah, I thought the prior choke was still a warning. Well, it won't be hard for Baldhart to kill her. If there are any dissenting views I'll allow time for others to post them :)

My fault for not clarifying that. Yeah, Baldhart doesn't do the warning thing. Her offer for redemption/prayer/wherever she was going was sincere, mostly because Baldhart pities the woman in a way, despite what she did. She's dying, naked, bleeding, realizing she lost… it is kind of pitiful.

I liked the witch getting in another reply, so it could just be that Baldhart squeezed, then let her finish her speech. The 'your goddess is losing power' might've been the fire under Baldhart's ass that gets her from Nun Mode to Barbarian Mode.

Just to add, I think the witch's reply is awesome. Baldhart's thinking, I can save her soul and the children's in one deft prayer. Then the witch is like, eff you lady. That slapped Baldhart back into reality.
