I'm guessing that 6 squares per turn (movement) means 1 level per turn, so no fish on level 2 means Baldy can get dressed next turn, and the fish will only get as far as level 2 (I think). I don't know if Bressel can help to speed that up if he helps Baldy with her armor, or if it just makes the situation more awkward for the barbarians.

Of course, when I saw a post from Steerpike, I thought that was going to be trouble from the locals due to yet another magic missile.

The spells haven't gone unnoticed. I'll add some reactions in from the locals, and also Gilsa, who is on the stairs waiting for the others to get Baldhart and Hall up (too crowded for her to be much help). I wanted to get posts in relating to the characters before I got too far into work today so everyone could get a response in :)

Yeah, I knew, However when you got stunned etc it got a little complicated and I had to act instead of waiting, I didnt know how long baldy would be out for.

Now you know half of the reason why Mauve trained melee combat so hard in the past. :3

P.s.: And why she knew no missile or shiny offensive spell at all.

Posting slows during combat rounds because everyone gets one action over the 24 hours of real time that represent that round.

Only as many as needed for your action that turn. Some acts may require more than one roll (like a failed magic casting that then requires a check to save against runaway magic).

Good thing I can swim, just in case.
That depends… how heavily armored is Liadan?

…and if she's wearing 4 AC worth of steel, how strong is she?

The weight of Baldhart's armor drops her like a stone. She hits the bottom of the lake a few seconds later and, using her own incredible strength, makes for the shore. Her speed is not great, weighed down as she is, but she is able to make progress and realizes she will have no trouble holding her breath until she reaches the rocky shore where the lizard ambush waits.

@Ireth, Let's hope she doesn't find out the hard way like her lover did.

@Severin, I think you made a good call with Bressel. My guess is in two turns, the nearest enemy is able to strike us. In one turn, he's only halfway there. If Baldhart can move at all next turn… well, no sense discussing here. We'll find out next GM post!

Did site go down or has work massively blocked alot of sites?
Half of every search I did wouldn't load today.
If work has blocked sites, I won't be able to post until after work.
I here there is a new virus that locks up documents on your computer, it requires you pay ransom or loose it dumps the files in 4 days.
Backup all documents, simply opening a jpg can do it, and there is no prevent for it yet. Most of my documents are in my email saved file. Some in drop box.

That sucks! As far as I know, the site didn't have trouble today.

@Keit, I'm not sure if Batos was able to fight yet. The enemies are two flights lower than Baldy and Bressel. I suppose we'll know for certain next GM post. Yeah… I'm just worrying about the dog.

I only hate dogs that burn children and amputate hands.

I wasn't sure how far down they were and how fast they could move up stairs, but pretty sure they wouldn't reach Baldy this round. Thats why I didn't roll for Bressel. But he is ready to intimidate, might be more effective if Baldy and Bressel do it together. Two...two saves for one, ok, two saves for two.

Whats the distance from the top to the water?

I suggest we not wait around after the fight, Aliron might need to follow the ranger into hiding. If the villagers decide to act on what they have seen.
Barbarian woman skinny dipping at the dock?
No, I mean the magic.
We may end the two battles and then face a quickly hostile ally from behind.
Murders, mages, and elfs, oh my. (Attracting gnolls, goblins and fish demons.)
I think we have officially wore out our welcome, we might not be welcome in any town nearby either.
They probably think that insurance guy travels with us, Mayhem.

New players,
you should roll for damage even if your not sure you hit.
Makes the combat go faster.

I think you can do both on one line but I forget how its done in Rolz. Been so long.
Example: 1D20;1D6+2# attacking the wall with fist
will look like this:

use "Simple BBCode:" line copy and paste.
;=multiple dice rolls, #=text after rolls (I don't think it works before the roll)

Spell roll possiblilty:

This would need a corruption check I think. Not sure how often the corrupt check is needed.
Spell failed so damage does not apply, but also doesn't have people waiting or requiring the DM to roll for you. (checked, 5 points or more miss, so this would not require a corruption roll)
