1 round? In that case, I won't have her toss her armor. (If more than one, I would have!) I think if carrying doesn't slow her down, I'll have her dress herself ~30 feet (charging range!) from the top of the stairs.

I should ask this before I roll a charge: she's not fleeing from battle, but is backing from the enemy (to buy time and reposition herself). Is this fleeing in the no-primeval-instinct-for-Baldy sense?

Or maybe I'll just dress her next turn. I just realized the enemy is 6 spaces from stairs, but I'm more than 6 away from them because of levels. It looked deceptively close.

Doc Brown: "You're not thinking third-dimensionally!"
Me: "Yeah, I have a hard time with that."

We shouldn't get to many alternate threads, but maybe a map thread? So the current area could be easily checked?
I knew approximately where the map this time was this time.

Don't know if the actual action- move by move map would have to be there, but the general area map could help plan.
Geograhy and town maps.
It gets a little hard to find after alot of posts.

I did like Hill's comment.
A little healthy distrust and uncertainty is good when establishing a working relationship.
Aliron's philosophy is Alot of distrust and uncertainty is good in establishing a working relationship.

Bressel reaction:
"These gnolls look a little fishy!"

@Severin, don't forget about the levels on the stairs. There are (at least) 5 levels.

Fishies = 1st floor
Hall and Baldy = 2nd floor
Aldar = 5th floor
Others running = top floor (which may be the 5th, but I'm not sure)

'6 spaces to the left' - on the cliff to shoot the ones on the docks? Awesome!

I've just watched Pacific Rim. I expect a Kaiju.

P.s.: When the wolf with Baldhart's message arrives? It left before Cadell woke up!

And I just saying: I noticed this morning that the timeline—in case Ankari decides to talk to the gnolls—is messed up. I can't see how Cadell would arrive and leave before the pair for they had a monumental head start and Cadell was sneaking on a horse, in his armor, in the darkness, in the forest. They're not sneaking, they were up before Cadell even donned his armor, ate, sang, etc.

I suspect he would be on his way back already, not too far from Arendal. The timeline must be repaired, hah.

Yeah, I forgot about him, that's why he hasn't arrived yet. One of those months. I have to head to meeting now, but please feel free to RP his arrival and so on so we can get you two back on the timeline.

"Dog Mail" PM sent to all parties involved (Keit included since she plays the delivery dog) so Nihal and Ankari don't need to dig through Act III posts to find the letter.

^Thank you! I can't "thank", too many rep points given today. :<

Okay! I'm only worried that if Ankari returns to talk with Ghendra the gnoll could display a different behaviour with Cadell.

Seconded. I played Cadell with the assumption that Ghendra hadn't gotten the letter; that's why I didn't make specific references to Baldy calling him a baby-killing coward, etc. Otherwise I would have.

But Cadell would have how to know if they talked unless Ghendra told him. It's irrelevant to Cadell himself, it's relevant only if the gnoll changes his behaviour. =P

Part of the problem with the party splitting up and going into multiple timelines, compounded by different rates of posting at different times by the various players and the GM. I'm not going to retcon the encounter with Cadell, so if Ankari goes back to talk to Ghendra we're going to assume he arrives after Cadell and Ghendra have spoken :)

I understand it perfectly (and we don't even know if Ankari will return now or later). But I'm worried. This day I couldn't follow up the game properly, Ankari doesn't post much either. If every time that something gets badly trampled like that remains messed players with their actions trampled simply won't be able to play.
