It will be opposite of Ankari, so that won't be a problem.

Catching up on PMs at lunch today. Of course, almost all of it is going by PM now (and technically it all should I guess, because even the stuff in the main thread would be unknown to most of the group). I think if the party is going to be separated into multiple groups we should get that Side Treks thread going so that it is clear the game is moving along. Doing it all by PMs make things look rather dead

Aliron, Masama, Bressel, Branwen, Burnbright need one, (2 of group)

Ankari and Mauve are alone currently alone(2)

Keit, Cadell, Aldar, Liadan, Baldhart, need one. (Main group could post in main thread.)
Maybe Baldhart runs off in town?

Something I failed to consider when the side treks was first proposed is that the group could ended being split in more than 2 groups. In this case even the side treks thread would get tricky: the scenes happening at different places that would otherwise clutter the act thread being merely transferred to another cluttered thread.


P.s.: On my part Mauve can go to the side treks thread as soon the group hear the latest news. However, she'll make a boring subject to watch.

Yep, I was thinking in two threads. Let's see if it will be actually needed—or if another better solution doesn't popup first.

Also, for future reference in the side treks thread it would be really useful to 1. Name the place where it's happening (you don't need to be precise or give info away, it's just to be concise); 2. Link back to the post where the action diverged from the main thread (or to a post taking place at the same time but at a different place). E.G.:

I try to RP Baldy as the daughter of Freya-worshippers. Killing pregnant females is taboo, but for Baldy that teaching extends to children, families in homes, etc. Combine that upbringing with her devout goddess-of-battle worship, these gnolls are more deserving of divine retribution than any other enemy.

Tyr-worshippers… bunch of lawful goody-two-shoes is what they is.

The posts are directed to those immediately involved in what is going one. Aldar and Keitsumah can feel free to act within Arendal as they see fit. When Ireth returns, Cadell and Liadan will get back into the action too.

@SP, I like how you portrayed Gisla. I feel I know the character enough that I could tell Gisla's pride was wounded due to Mauve's escape. I figured Nissa would want to tell her to be proud, and she had a longer speech in case she couldn't put her business with Mauve aside.

I knew something was up when (in the PM play) she was ready to put more effort in the hunt for Mauve than she did when Ankari escaped. I had all this figured out from her very few words on the matter, and that was before Nihal told me Gisla fell on her butt!

I was surprised by their reactions intensity and so glad Mauve is "paranoid". :3
