*sneaking back on* :3

@Nihal: True, as long as it's just NPCs, and not members of the company (or former members). XD

Not sure if Baldy's post takes place before or after Cadell gets angry / Líadan goes to comfort him, but I think it works either way. Characters feeling the need to respond to stuff sometimes makes the timeline wibbly-wobbly. XD

Does anyone remember how much costed a bath and meal at the inn?

I've been procrastinating Mauve's gear update for so long that I'm about to forget all the changes. :<

9 sp for the first night which includes dinner and breakfast, 11 sp for the next day and night which also includes lunch. I think you get a hot bath for no extra charge.

But if it's per room, not per person, Baldhart treated Mauve. (I already deducted the amount.)

But... but... if they did fit 8127812721 in a room it would require way more food than 9sp could cover! xD

Good point. Well… ask Gisla for your money back. If she asks why, say, "CUZ I'M SLEEPING IN A @#$% JAIL!"

(Yeah… I'm pretty sure Mauve's not sleeping.)

EDIT - @SP, I was out all day, so I wanted to RP with other players' questions to Baldy, but the idea is that Baldy ends up asking Aga if she can see Gisla or an elder, how to get there (escorted or given directions). She just answers a couple questions from party member before she gets away.

Even though it'll be similar to what she'd have said to Gisla, I can PM you an edited version that's directed to the elder. I hope it's not a cop out using narration to skip long dialogues of stuff that's been said and came from you originally (gnoll's message).

I feel sorry for Burnbright, all this conversation going on around her and her player wasn't available to have her speak up. ^^;

Poor Burnbright!

(For those who like trivia, 'Burnbright' is the name of a character in Kage Baker's Anvil of the World, which is a delightful and humorous fantasy novel that everyone should read. You won't be sorry. I read it years ago and then started using it for a character name in MMOs for characters that were pyromancers or fire wizards of some sort, because it's a cool name for that).

Hmmm.... foreshadowing perhaps, or just a neat name you wanted to use one more time? XD

Actually, "Burnbright" as a child is a recurring NPC in my tabletop D&D games. She often gets hired by the party as a runner or whatever. But the whole Aslaug backstory is new to this game. Actually, she's not really the same character every time, but just the same name and a similar personality, but different backstory. I like to reprise characters I like.

The worst that ever happened to her was in a Warhammer game where the party hired her to go spy on cultists. She was captured and by the time the party rescued her, she'd had most of her teeth yanked out with pliers under some rather harsh interrogation by the bad guys. Then the party was run out of town and one of them killed by NPCs in the village who loved Burnbright and didn't take kindly to her almost being killed. That's the Burnbright incarnation I feel sorry for.

Ah, memories :)
