Nah, not more. The other players didn't take risks because they hadn't many options. Stealing boats under their noses is dangerous already, hah!
I agree not more (though I appreciate the offer) for two reasons:

#1 - It was fun. That's reward enough.

#2 - I don't like the precedent it sets.

Some of us are more equipped than others for single-player missions. Also, Baldy's success at finding Father Harald is due to Alin's scouting and Mauve getting her off the boat where she did with the magic item. She lacks stealth skills that would normally be needed without Alin's info or Mauve's item.

As a general rule I'll keep XP award even amongst the party members. There may be situations where someone gets a bonus, or gets separate XP if they're truly off on their own with no involvement of other party members.

It wasn't my original intent, but someone was posting Conan images in my Google+ thread this morning, and now I can't described Masama's actions without thinking of Artus from Conan:

Lmao, Ok no probs, I originally had this thought about saying something like " blah blah anyone know about weapons, As im not going to be using magic all the time" then i figured we would probably end up tied to trees so i deleted it. I actually wasn’t expecting this to go anywhere with the Scarred fellow, More just something to write about. Your right however i shall delete it now. Sorry all :)

EDIT: Well, Thanks for solving that SP. I managed to write in an apology taking your lead as if it was a misunderstanding and aldar having a very bad sense of humour.

Just a few things to keep in mind from the backstory:

1) Magic is dangerous. Virtually no one likes to speak about it publicly. Common-folk are generally terrified of the idea;

2) Most of the magic died out 1000 year ago. It's just starting to come back now, but it is pretty much limited to adventurers who are learning the old secrets of the world. Magic items are limited to what you can find, or in some cases obtain from the rare NPC who may have come across an item. There is no place that any of you have heard of in the world where you can just walk in and buy magic weapons. They're just not that common. Likewise, spells have to be found and/or researched. The likelihood of walking in somewhere any buying a scroll is nil.

As adventurers you'll tend to view magic as more commonplace than the average person, because you're not exposed to it. But most people aren't adventurers and have never been exposed to magic in their entire lives. When it starts creeping into their world, they don't react well. Especially after 1000 years of learning that the best thing to do with practitioners of magic is to burn them at the stake.

GM post already has a response, so we can just keep it. It works to our advantage, anyway, because now the party's seen Gisla's "one of the good ones" where if Baldy just said she is, you'd have to take her word for it. (And Baldy has this star-struck look about her when she's around Gisla, so her trust in her, while not misplaced it seems, would look naive.)

Yes no problem , Again i apologize for that. :) I shall keep that in mind. I think it would make the game more exciting anyway :)
Thanks for keeping me right:)

No problem.

Also—just in case I misunderstood this:

It's more like Aldar really asked of enchanted weapons because he craves them, Gilsa knew he was serious, and she very loudly, publicly, said, "he's kidding—I've been south—I know" and Aldar took the hint from her and said, "Yes. Kidding. That's what I did."

Like I said, it all worked out better than if you hadn't. It's apparent that Gisla is a strong ally in a place full of superstitious northerners.

Oh! And @SP, did any of Gisla's descriptions of the fishermen seem familiar to Baldhart? In not, she asks Grim if he knew the names of the two fishermen, and failing that, she'll ask Alin for a description as he got a better look at them (she assumes he watches everyone carefully).

Oh yes, I meant to mention, but it has been a busy morning and it slipped my mind - the descriptions of the fishermen match Barki and Dufgal. Seems like it was those two on the boat.

It also taught him a lesson the easy way. Now he knows that casting spells in town, even if to save the town, would bring unwanted trouble from good simpletons. We may even consider healing with bandages (WIS checks req'd, I think).

I mean healing THEM. Keit prepping Goodberries on the outskirts might be a wise move in case we need to heal in an in-town battle. (We have 17 Goodberries total - 4 currently on Blady, the other 13 on Keit, but there are 30 berries that can be turned and Keit has full MP now.) Seeing wounds close up would freak villagers out, but I don't think eating a Goodberry makes an attention-getting blue flash. (Turning them would, I believe.)

Aliron? Who me? I'm just a poor down on his luck scout, I don't watch people. No, really. I hardly even know how many people are wearing swords in the room within minutes of me entering, where all the exits are, potential weapons in the room. I am just a humble servant that can hunt with my bow.

I think the fishermen are Duffus and Barkly?

Good idea, remind me when we are close so i can Pick some. :D
and yes, The easy way, That could have gone a different way.
Our top berry-pickers are:

Keitsumah
Baldhart
Bressel
Ankari

Assuming Ankari didn't get killed and be really, really secretive about it even out-of-character, I would still cross him off that list because it's just not his thing (in-character, at least). Barbarian foraging skills cover berry-picking, and I'm pretty sure druids do that for fun.

Baldhart: "If you don't watch people, what kind of a scout are you?"
Nissa: "A Boy Scout." [places halo over Aliron to help him feign innocence]

I almost forgot to put Bressel on the list! And, yes, that is good. SP and I were discussing a die roll for how many berries we find, so the number of berry-pickers will make a difference. Baldy will definitely invite Bressel. And unlike Baldy, he can actually use Deerstalker to stalk and shoot deer.

I'm getting a bit concerned. WHERE is Ankari while all this is going on? Has he been RPing with Steerpike via PM, or has his player not been online for all this time? I hope we don't lose another party member like we're set to lose Matthew...

EDIT: On the topic of berries, I think it's worth mentioning that Liadan knows the spell Purify Food and Drink, so if anything goes rotten she can fix it (if the dice allow!).
