LS couldn't even access the forum after it was back. I believe part of US is (or was) still experiencing some problems to access the forum.
That's right, even I couldn't get on.

Er… but I can now. To clarify, if anyone in the party wants Nissa, light a torch immediately. Baldy has no torch. I think we're past the point where it's okay to go back to the Act II thread and ask Sir Matthew for one.

When different people still experience problems—and you see more people from outside US than in US in chat—you may infer US still have problems, sir size 7 "I". Not now, but at the time I've posted. =P

P.s.: I found a gif that accurately depicts Mauve's prowess in stealthing.

Baldy's trying to get party members to light the torch, but I myself have mixed feelings. I really like the idea of her popping out of the fireplace near Burnbright. Of course, if we can't make the climb because we're spotted, that doesn't happen anyway. So yeah… practical trumps cool.

Tell that tiger to stay away from escalators going up.

I would, but I don't know if anyone in the boat(s) even has a torch... Liadan's hands aren't free to light one, anyway. Not sure how adept Cadell would be with flint and tinder right now either.

Bressel has 10 torches but no flint.

(It wouldn't let me post the first message saying I didn't have 10 characters hence the random letters

@Severin, hope you don't mind the assumption, but I figured he'd toss one if Baldy asked so I posted as if he did. (If you didn't want him to throw the torch for some reason, let me know and I'll edit.) She has the flint, but her only torch burned up in Nissa's attack.

Cool. I don't know if we make it unspotted, but if your climb check didn't work out, Baldy should arrive first (I think) with that STR check for the rowing… and I THINK STR can be used for rock climbing. If so, a silk rope is waiting for the rest of the party.

((At cliffside, use rope—the one that's already attached to the boat—to tie or loop around a rock formation to keep boat from drifting away. If anchor inside, use that, too.

If Baldy arrives first, which is likely with that roll unless sentries screw us up, AND if a STR check works for rock climbing, she goes up first then secures Mauve's silk rope for others to climb or be pulled.

Note: Baldy is barefoot and not wearing armor. Her sword will be on her back as she climbs.))

OK. I did some PMing with Nihal and I'll be updating the game thread shortly, taking into account her actions as well as the main party and Nissa.

Nissa should have come up west—taking the shortest possible path since Mauve's distraction proved fruitful—so hopefully, when the dogs look up, they're not looking in Mauve's direction. She's trying to get them to face away from the Crow.

Should anyone else (eg. Cadell, Liadan, Aldar) be climbing up as well, or are we leaving that to Baldy and Alin until further notice?

Even with the rope, Cadell will find the climb difficult. It is a sheer, wet climb, and with one hand on the rope he will be relying almost entirely on his legs. The gauntlet is not made for this sort of thing, being capable of only two positions. It's better than nothing, but he'll need a STR check. Anyone else who wants to climb the rope can do so without a check. Anyone climbing without the rope needs to make a roll.

Went to III first, I just asked that.

Quick decision: (asking people inside)
How many to evacuate?
Do we need to fight or can we just leave?

I would keep people coming up until we decide. We will have more time to evacuate then we will to prepare for a fight.
We might need more strength up top to lower people to the boats if there are weak/old people. It is faster to go down then up.

ah, so i guess Batos will be towing the boat to safety with people in it? He could try to make the climb but i don't think he'd be any use otherwise.

Also... I am at a complete loss where to put keit atm.
