Dang, I posted too soon. I wonder whether Cadell would have his needle and thread on him right now... he could try to stitch the wound in Baldy's thigh.

@Sparkie, I'm pretty sure it's an 8 hour rest. If you need to heal Keit again, Rydh's not wounded so I think nap…wake up…heal works. Oh—that is, if we get XP and you level so your mana is full in less than 8 hours.
@Severin, Nihal PM'd me Steerpike's post, I was on lunch so I rolled. I credit her for that near-perfect roll (natural 20 + 1 point below max damage). Part of randomness is when you roll. I'm nice, so if I rolled a natural 1, I wouldn't blame her.

@Ireth, Baldy needs a hug. I told Steerpike in a PM, I could care less about the harpies, but Baldy's gotta be freaked out seeing Nissa then fighting a winged woman ~3 hours later. (Yes, I count in-game hours now.)
@Keit, no worries about the adult harpies. Rydh poked the big one, so if 50 HP is a KO, a 9 to-hit would cut her in KO state. Even if he didn't roll damage thinking 9 was a miss, a 1 damage would start bleed-out if Baldy's strike didn't already. (For Baldy's sake, I was hoping the harpy had 40 HP and her hit would bring the harpy to -10—an instant kill. But, meh… let her make a fool of herself now and then. That's partly why I took a 4 in wisdom!)

Yeah, poor Baldy. ^^; I think Cadell will try for first-aid before hugs, though, if he has his needle and thread on him. I don't think anything happened to his pack since they entered the tunnels...

Sorry for double-post. Is Baldy's cut fully healed, or what? I'm not sure what the description of "new pink skin" is supposed to mean. Can Cadell still sew it up?
Well… she healed 4 out of the 7 damage from the cut at best, so if Cadell wants to sew there's still damage. Let's say that SOME new pink skin showed up and the wound is less severe.

Might want to try it the other way around, next time: sew first, then apply healing. Otherwise, there might not be that much to sew… which I'm guessing is what LS was thinking. (Don't think it would make much—if any—difference in terms of actual game effects, just in terms of description. Though I suppose you never know.)

We know how much damage was done, the characters can only estimate. It doesn't sound good to me to sew something that would be closed by the berries. Not the case now, but could be, and in this case... unnecessary pain!
Yeah, either way, full HP after rest. I figure it's all RP here, which is all good.

To clarify something since it won't be made clear in-game: the words from Brynhild are a partial quote from a GM PM to Nissa. Nissa won't mention that Brynhild spoke to her recently, but anything she reveals from the message in her dream isn't just stuff I made up for RP.

If you guys don't mind, lets get the post-battle actions in the cavern wrapped up before we have too many pages moving ahead. There may still be quite a bit to do in the cavern, particularly as there might be one hostile creature left. A little bit of out-of-time posting is no problem, but we've got over four pages of posts from hours later, and if we still have pages of posts to go in the post-battle cavern, it's going to get disjointed and confusing in a hurry

Since barbarian scale won't work on the cliff, I assumed Baldy was out for that part anyway, but if you want the whole party in there, it could be pre-cage—after Baldy and Mauve dragged the lizards into the room. Once Baldy's getting her wounds clean, she, Mauve and Cadell basically have to rush in if they can hear action.

I have a feeling a little competition will ensue between Mauve and Keit at some point...
also, i've had her use her last mana points to enchant the flutesong and help the others out -hopefully it hypnotizes the chicks so they can be put down cleanly.
