So, are we just ignoring the posts with Nissa and co., or will they be deleted and reposted after the previous stuff is done?

You guys can go ahead if you like. Just put a line in bold at the beginning that it's the later time, and I'll do the same on my posts back in the cavern. That will help people navigate easier until the timelines merge.

Okay, but what if we want to join in the cavern stuff before Nissa's entrance? (Though that depends on if anything happens to alert those in the cage to possible danger from the harpy chicks or otherwise, I suppose...)

Nissa's part is two hours later, so Sir Cadell could go inspect the action on the ledge and it still makes sense that 2 hours later, he's back by the cage sleeping.

Nissa spoke last, so her part won't start up again until you or Nihal responds.

As long as we use the bold heading "Cage…" or something like that, as Steerpike said, the heading will prevent confusion.

Also, while on the topic of rest, will XP be given at the start of rest period?

(An observation: If Rydh reached level 2 and has a mid-rest watch, he'd be able to heal Keit and whoever else can't fully heal during the rest time, and—depending on the rolls—still have full MP at the end of the rest period due to the increased mana regeneration rate. I think Ankari and Matthew took punch damage, which heals quickly, and Alin gets 3 HP back in his sleep if he has at least a 9 in CON. So it might just be Keit and Darin who need healing.)

Regardless of lvl-ups, Rydh's going to try a new spell on a corpse after a few hours. It's a 2nd lvl spell, so it will eat up nearly half of his Mana at his current level.

Cool!

…and I'm hoping the method of reproduction is strange*. If it's the normal way, a winged naked guy will swoop through the ceiling to avenge his family. That's our cue to point out the fresh trog corpses and say, "The lizards did it."

*Darn… IMDB failed me. There's a Fletch quote I was looking for that might explain.

Or do they magically turn a human/elf/dwarf/Halfling kid into a harpy?

I dunno. Give me another beer and I'll think about it awhile longer...

All your characters know is what is contained within scraps of lore about them within the game world. It is said that they take male captives for breeding purposes before eating them.

gahh.. missed the editing time limit by a hair!! (repeat of PM to Steer)

If Batos's ump did not work in the first place just assume he crashed to the ground again; though it would be pretty epic that he did make it. I honestly thought he would have fallen but the numbers given to me ended up forcing the idea that it had worked.

Not a problem. It's my first D&D-type game, so I totally understand how seeing a high or low die roll creates a mental picture of that perceived success or failure. And we're all honing our writing skills here, which makes it that much easier to run what our minds see. I think in some cases, Steerpike might also go along with our versions of what high rolls do. But, I have been guilty of typing stuff like, "I impale the enemy on the end of my sword," and sometimes the enemy is impaled, and sometimes he isn't.
