Phil, Steerpike, could there be an occasional Nod cameo? Like he's playing at the Crow or something if Phil's available to RP a bit while our characters are there? I know it's not quite the same as having him in the party, but we know and love the character.

Matthew has been oddly silent for a few pages now. Is Phietadix just unable to post recently, or does Matthew really have nothing to say or do concerning everything happening around him? o_O; I would think Cadell's and Ankari's conflict would spark something, at least.

I've been focusing mainly on Ravana's game, Catfang is alot easier to play. I'll try and see if I can get a post in for Matthew soon.

Okay, it may take me a dayr or two (maybe less but i dbout it) for me to study up on the spellcasting and other things. My brain started nagging at me to be Ardoway (Keitsumah's brother) instead but ill stick with Keit as i already write from first person POV with her which I am used to.

Also, Steer ill send you the idea for my char profile and my first post for approval (that way you know how i write and if the material i put in is correct)

Now how to make Keit less shy so she can stop hiding and get into this game... (my characters are very real to me which can be a pain at times) :p

If you need something, just hiss.

Or ask Steerpike if it's time for Mauve's nude scene. All the RP stuff probably ate most if not all of the duration, and with the loading/unloading, the round trip for the boat is probably closer to 10 minutes than 8. My point being that, unless Steerpike has a reason to keep you in fish mode... wait. He might. Don't ask. Just hiss and grab chalk.

Hahaha, yeah, I know. She wanted to finish the talk. I imagine that holding your breath a number of times is a bit tiring.

I agree that te RP ate most of the waiting time (yay!) and I suspect she'll turn back before they land, for they'll have to organize themselves; and don't forget the table-bearers.

P.s.: Uh, oh. That means that from the lake maybe they all will see her turning back. *walks away slowly*

If the rest of the party rigs tables and barrels to the canoe to make a battleship or whatever, Mauve will be human, dry, fully clothed, and able to walk before the others arrive.

I've noticed that Druids can have animal companions. Is that limited to small animals? I am wondering if i can get a large white wolf that can be used as a mount, as well as it can fight with claws and teeth, but i think that may be too powerful. Hmm...

Well our last druid had a reindeer, a raven and a vihmakissa—whatever that is. So, since a reindeer was allowed, it appers it's not limited to small animals. I don't know if wolves that can be used as mounts are allowed though.

Not necessarily limited to small animals, but a wolf large enough to be used as a mount would be over-powered. Typically, the only class that has mounts capable of use in combat are the Knights, and even that is a house rule (in the rules as written they get a riding horse to begin with, not a light war horse. I made the house rule because of the limited situations in which the horses are useful to begin with, particularly once the party starts going into dungeons and the like). To start with, at least, the animal companion isn't going to be something that's particularly useful in battle.

ew, the table might not work, but a table with two floatation barrels just might. But they will need the rope that the cannoe took on the first trip.

I think the cannoe and the swimmers were still around the corner, so the only one that might have seen was Aliron, and glancing back when Baldy charged out and bent over in a short dress was probably more then he wanted to see. But he is a man of silence so unless he has nightmares no one will ever know.

thanks for the info. hmm... maybe just a nromal wolf would be good. Steer, i'll send you the char template with everything in a bit so you can look at it so to make sure im gettign everything right. I just have to finish up the bio.

Edit: also, i am still figuring out the combat stuff so if i join don't expect me to know much about how the fighting works, thus why i made Keit weak to begin with so i can just have her run and hide. However, i do plan on her having healing spells so she can act as a support.

Just my opinion, but I dunno if a wolf is a wise choice for a companion, given that two of our characters have horses, which they'll eventually be reunited with. I wouldn't want there to be any bloodshed between the animals. :/ You'd have to keep them quite a ways apart.

good point, but what if the wolf happens to have been raised by her since it was a pup? kind of a dog then and it would have been trained to only go after what keit told it to.
