things are going to become increasingly difficult in terms of the party's ability to succeed without cooperation amongst the group members.
Ha! No problem! You see how Baldy and Sir Matthew resolved their little conflict? Everything is hunky-dory in Dragonseggville!

Say... what's that commotion out in the snow?

PS- Aliron's thoughts are hilarious! I love seeing how a successful treasure-hunter thinks!

I've done some googling on choking, discovering that there are two types (air vs blood, beside the mixed) and other technical aspects. Fascinating.

But Matthew said to have her untied. That includes removing gag and Blindfold. (Even if Ankari doesn't Matthew will untie her himself.)

Strictly speaking, she should be waking up after 15-30s if he didn't choke her for more than ~4min - or didn't crush anything. Considering it's a game, it could take longer. She might be coming back while Matthew unties her, maybe later. I need Steerpike's ruling here.

I am, however, more worried about Ankari allowing Matthew to free her. ;x

Obs.: It looked like an air or an air/blood choke at best. Extremely painful, they say. D:

((Hiljikki will also take the opportunity to examine the trog shaman's book, at whatever point Mauve is brought back in and she has the time to. She will make no attempt to keep it, and will in fact consult with Mauve—and Darin, once she becomes aware he has insights into it—to aid in the examination. She will behave as though the scene between Ankari and Mauve never took place: not her problem, as far as she's concerned. She will also take a good look at the shaman's staff, for whatever it might be able to tell her.))

The book is by Mauve's backpack, she left it at the temple, in the main room. Anyway Mauve might be unfriendly after the fight. Let's see what will happen. =P

Now, about the staff I'm not sure, I don't know if they'll remember to pick the staff and the spear.

I consider the man atop the horse, with his profusion of weapons sticking out in every direction like a porcupine.

Matthew doesn't have many weapons any more. Only a lance, spear, and Javelins. He started with far too many, that's partially why I gave some to Burnbright.

Just a bunch of M's. I was inspired by the scene in which Marcellus Wallace was bound and gagged in Pulp Fiction, and in that scene* the character mumbles a lot. Only his final two muffled words are obvious.

*(I don't know if you've seen Pulp Fiction. Some of my high school students have, so it's more likely location than age that might have prevented you from having seen it.)

I know the movie but I've not seen it yet. LAZYYYY! ;x

Oh, by the way Mauve won't answer Matthew anymore.

Well, we are talking about the one person in the group Mauve has been given decent reasons not to be unfriendly to. Okay, sure, Hiljikki may not treat you any differently than she'd treat a turnip… but at least she doesn't treat you any worse than she treats anyone else.

Now, about the staff I'm not sure, I don't know if they'll remember to pick the staff and the spear.

If they don't bring it back, Hiljikki will bloody well go out for it. (Probably muttering something about men not cleaning up after themselves.… ;) )
