Guess Hiljikki has it, then. Unless Mauve wants it… though I'm guessing it's connected to divine magic, or we wouldn't be the two candidates named? Hope Mauve filled her in a little on whatever she learned about it.
Can't hurt to keep it in the party for healing after Rydh is out of magic, even if he would hold the sword other than the moment the staff is needed. (One healing spell.)

I had a thought last night. Does Baldhart still have that cursed knife? I wonder if we could strap it to a wooden staff or something to make a makeshift spear or other pole-y weapon for someone to use against the lizards. Would a cursed knife be bad or good to use against Tainted creatures?
She does, and someone can, if they'd like.

Mauve is helping him, at least... if she's near. I was so happy the lizards are fight that I forgot to add it in my post; Although I'm not sure if this trick would really help it's worthy a try.

Hm... just trying to visualize what Cadell's got to do now. He has the shield on his left arm, which also has the wooden prosthesis, and his right hand free to use his sword or arrows at will. Would having the shield on his bow-holding arm have any effect on his ability to shoot? I imagine the weight might throw him off. What kind of penalty might that give him?

Yeah, I'd give a -2 situational modifier for trying to shoot a bow while the shield is attached.
