Batos has three rounds, I believe.

I'll be updating in just a bit, but given my delays over the weekend I wanted to let the period for players to post go a bit longer, to make sure everyone has had a chance to check in and see that things are moving again.

From my part Mauve would only have some action to start still in this turn if her plan works and their lunch the fish demons took less than 3 seconds to react. A turn is 6s if I remember it right, she would take ~3s to wake the knife up.

Baldhart can probably lower Liadan on a rope and get her to Batos in time, assuming everyone gets off the stairs on this turn.

And assuming the stairs don't collapse before everyone is able to get off, if they intend to head for dry land and not jump into the sea.

Just know that:

A) Baldhart can't move two people up a rope at once. A person with STR as a prime holding a dog while someone with STR as a prime helps with the rope--that can work.

Agreed. What are Keit's primes?

B) If a fish demon bites and claws Keit, Batos isn't saved and now Liadan is being lowered to save Keit.

C) It's really hard to save anyone in the water since a single fish demon can drop almost any party member in a single turn, AND non-barbarians without magic rings shouldn't chance extreme temperatures, so take Gisla's advice about not going in the water.

Yeaaah... Liadan's CON isn't the greatest (-1), so...

i rally have no idea what keit's primes are. I was never asked ^^' how do i know what is prime or not? and what are the effects of something being prime?

One of Keit's primes is decided by her class (druid, so I think that's WIS?), and the other should have been chosen by you when you made her profile. Prime attributes do better in checks, since the base number you must roll to succeed is 12, rather than 18 for non-prime attribute checks.

and i am going to need to see if i can get keit's necklace enchanted somehow...if she can somehow replicate the spell on the ring, then she might be able to place the enchantment on her necklace.

Edit: Okay now keit's primes are her WIS and CHA -CHA because hello, she should be able to look cute/reassure someone easilly.

The idea of lowering Liadan on the rope is so she doesn't need to swim. She'd dangle over the water.

(In the interest of acting fast as well as welfish reasons, Baldhart won't waste a turn giving the ring to someone. The selfish part: she has only cold bronze worn over her wet skin. Being able to feel the cold might be very uncomfortable for her!)

I know really, it's the longest night! The majority of the characters got food and sleep by now, but Ankari and Mauve are going nearly 4 months without a snack and barely any sleep.

Cadell and Liadan even got to enjoy themselves/each other one last time before it's possible either of them could die. XD

Batos only has one turn left, and Baldart hasn't moved with Liadan. Im assuming it would take at least one turn to get to Batos, then another to try and heal him.

The water was described as deep enough that Batos had to swim. And keit won't wait any longer.

I have him down for two rounds remaining. If it is supposed to be one, then my error will work in his favor. I've been marking them down in my notebook when I post.

you know what Liadan may be in for a tad of a surprise whens he gets there and possibly heals him. (crossed fingers)

Steer can i pull a ghost-trick again? but instead have Batos be the one? my idea is that Liadan would.... idk "have a vision" per se and glimpse Batos in his actual body for a split second? (Ireth i'd need your cooperation too lol)

it would put some mystery around what batos actually is, at least for the characters...

I'm not sure how we'd play that, since Keit seems to be the only one who can see ghosts and the like. Having Liadan suddenly gain the ability seems kind of jarring.

Good thing healing touch spells don't fail for clerics! We're cutting this close. The STR check is barely a success.

Maybe Liadan gets to Batos faster since Baldy almost dropped her off the cliff!

I just wonder how many HP below zero Batos has, if he's so close to a cold wet death. A critical success for Liadan's spell might just get him back to zero, or possibly -1. At least then he'd be stable, wouldn't he?

*doesn't want to think about the chances of rolling a really low number*

Even if she heals him to -8, he's stable.

Don't waste healing magic if that's correct. Let sleeping dogs lie.
