Hi all just a quick update, It appears I do get computer access from time to time down here at the army. However I still cant post properly via my phone, every time I attempt it I cant enter the text without the pad jumping away.

It seems as well that in the coming weeks the freedom we get will improve vastly and I will be able to post more.

Im going to use this opportunity for some ideas for a book I reckon as well.

Sorry for posting this here, I did already post in the vacation thread. This was more of a quick update as I have literally 5 minutes and wanted to get the message out to you all.

DE seems to be going slow anyway at the moment.

No. You're good for now. Though just as an aside I'm rolling every round for the stairs to collapse, and the chances of collapse are greater with each passing round

*still wracking her brain over what to do* Sacrifice the cleric for the slim chance of saving Batos... or get Liadan to safety and leave Batos to die? D= Then again, someone else might jump in to get him out of the water, even if they can't heal him right away... I don't want to get Liadan killed if, say, Hall decided to act at the same time.

Aliron might have saved Batos, but the children in danger trumped the wolf.
Brussel likes the wolf, but Aliron needed back up, not enough to charge down a dark cave with no light though. The lullaby would make him hesitate though. (Hush child, the darkness will rise from the deep, and carry you down to sleep.)

Not sure what "•Twilight Vision" is for Aliron. He can see better in low light then humans, I think he can follow the fishies by the light they emit. I don't think its "infravision" like in D&D.

SP: In the tunnel of darkness, how much can Aliron see other then the fishies eyelights?(infravision?)

Aliron and Bressel don't know about the arrival of the gnolls-
Aliron is not Ankari, he errors on the side of safety, so when he comes up to see a village full of gnolls, I don't think he will come out shooting. But he will be looking for the best tactical avantage to fight them if needed. One obvious clue to the gnolls being accepted would be they aren't killing everyone. Aliron will not show himself, knowing the group believes he is the only one who knows Burnbrights location.(Aliron's motto: trust no one. Loyal only to me)

Bressel will not relax with them in town, but will not attack unless the gnolls are attacking.

I really wanted Nissa to save Batos, but the children trump Batos in her book as well.

I don't know what Keit, Hall and Liadan will do, but Baldhart is attempting to save Batos. (And Gisla, and Keit, and Hall and Liadan.) If not for that, Baldy would have gone in the caves to punch and suplex some fish demons.

How many turns does Batos have before he bleeds out and dies? Otherwise i am going to have keit dive in and save him.

As for the gnolls, if they intend to attack the village i will have keit pull some serous shit on their Alpha cuz if Batos is threatened.... well you think Batos is bad when he's protective? Think again.

and i just went back to check the spells and mana. Keit put magic into Batos's throat to make him intimidate the demons better, and she cast light. Light would subtract one mana from her 8, and im not sure how much she lost from the howl. Can i just assume it was a level one spell? that is her limit atm. and she also cast heal light wounds on batos.

so she has a bit of mana left.....if each spell from level zero up to one only takes between 0-2 mana each.... i was assuming it was four, but that was for level three spells!

Overall, i can get her to save Batos then still have enough mana left to cast entangle!

Read Cadell's last post. The gnolls don't intend to attack the village, they only want to look for Burnbright. They won't harm anyone (i.e.anyone not a fish-demon, or presumably a wolf) unless they are harmed first.

Batos has three rounds, I believe.

I'll be updating in just a bit, but given my delays over the weekend I wanted to let the period for players to post go a bit longer, to make sure everyone has had a chance to check in and see that things are moving again.

Baldhart can probably lower Liadan on a rope and get her to Batos in time, assuming everyone gets off the stairs on this turn.


Just know that:

A) Baldhart can't move two people up a rope at once. A person with STR as a prime holding a dog while someone with STR as a prime helps with the rope--that can work.

B) If a fish demon bites and claws Keit, Batos isn't saved and now Liadan is being lowered to save Keit.

C) It's really hard to save anyone in the water since a single fish demon can drop almost any party member in a single turn, AND non-barbarians without magic rings shouldn't chance extreme temperatures, so take Gisla's advice about not going in the water.
