Just a couple things wrong with your logic: 1, Cadell and Liadan don't have kids. ^^; 2, Liadan would be just as likely to fight the gnolls as Cadell would, if it came to that.

yes, but they could only kill so many before they were overwhelmed like the villagers before. I was just trying to say that to get him to think about it, of what other families felt after losing loved ones. IF they had kids, and IF Liadan died with them, and Cadell was left, by some miracle, alive to suffer, then how would he react? His honor would prevent him from commiting suicide, so that leaves only one option.

Well, since Ankari spoke with Baldhart, she knows where he votes.

His vote was counted in Baldy's mind, but she won't say it counts aloud because Gisla will be really pissed off.

3 for peace, 4 not; Mauve's position is unclear aside from hating Baldhart more than the gnolls, and Aldar hasn't voted.

Anyway, regarding Baldy's idea... I'm not sure whether I can have Liadan react properly until Steerpike has his say about the questions you raised, so we might be in for a bit of a wait.

Sp, I think a better map would be a great assistance, but I understand how much of a hassle it may be so dont sweat it, Im looking at it as more of a bonus than anything else.

A map isn't a big problem. I can make one this weekend. The past week and half or so I wouldn't have been able to, but things are smoothing out now.
