PM sent to SP. If anyone has something to say to Baldhart, she sticks around to listen, but her intent is to get to Gisla right away and relay what's been discussed. (All but the 'visitor' part, since she doesn't know anything about the demon thanks to Nissa's spaciness at the time.)

If anyone wants to move posts by Mauve, Ankari, and/or Aliron to a Side Trek thread, we can do that. Up to you guys whether you prefer that or PM.

I saw the PM about talking to Gisla. Only problem at this point is that none of the party know where Mauve is being held, and thus where Gisla is on guard.

Oh… can Baldy ask Aga that, or ask Aga to relay a message to Gisla (send runner)?

Yes. I'm going to update in a bit if you want to RP it before then, feel free. Aga will tell Baldy, somewhat nervously, that outsiders aren't allowed to know where they are, and that Baldy should speak with one of the elders, since they're the only ones who can waive that rule.

Cadell and Líadan have more to say.

Nah, for now it can keep going with PMs. :3

I was going to add that she'd ask to speak to an elder if Gisla can't be reached.

I may not post much, if anything, until night. So I'll play that bit by PM.

I have to step out of the house for a bit, so I'll be back later. I hope we can come to a consensus soon enough to let characters actually sleep tonight. ._.;

Rather than wait for a consensus, Baldhart will head to Gisla (or an elder, since meeting Gisla seems unlikely) to find out what Arendal will do about the threat.

Of course, she'd prefer to speak to Gisla and the elder together, but… I'll have to RP that.

But they need to come to a consensus ANYWAY, to decide what to do about the gnolls and Burnbright, which will undoubtedly impact the threat and Gisla's / the elder's decision regarding such.

...bleh. I should probably get into the habit of eating before posting. :/

EDIT: It occurs to me that rather than coming to a consensus or speaking to Gisla/the elder NOW, it might be best to wait until morning, when everyone is as rested as possible and has a (more) clear mind regarding this. "Sleep on it" is actually good advice.

EDIT 2: Nevermind, just remembered that Mauve is going to be tried first thing in the morning, so there really isn't that much time to wait. Rawr. ._.;

^Yup. It's hard to read the thread and not point this kind of detail out, for they're too much the character's own conclusions and should be dealt in-RP only, heh. But it's also more entertaining. :x

Did it sound like Bressel an experienced warrior speaking or too much like Aliron's words?

Aliron tends to point out the problem then offer a solution, usually involving stealth. Bressel swings an axe, not much tactics involved. Charge into battle, but know that some tactics might alter the conflict.

Actually he's coming off as a hell of a strategist. He's pointing all the details the other missed so far and outlining more possible outcomes than the others predicted. Bressel seems to be really useful, but I'm not sure if it's what you intended to do with this character.

However, I'm feeling he thinks too much like Aliron. One can reach the same conclusion through different chains of thought, different motivations, but he seems to think alike, hence, sounds alike.

Nihal has a point, he does sound very Aliron-ish. (On that note, I hope Cadell and Liadan don't sound too much alike... sure, they've been together for centuries and knew each other long before then, but they are two different people.)

I was thinking that after I wrote it. Will have to look and see how I can say it, but make it sound more like a barbarian strategist rather then a thiefs plotting.

"I believe no matter when the gnolls attack, we will be blamed. If you all stay and fight them, after the fight the town will turn on you. If we leave and gnolls attack the town and we rush back, they will turn on you. If the gnolls attack and we don't return, they will blame us. I fail to see how we aren't blamed."

Bressel kind of repeated what Aliorn said, so there is an out for the connection.

Had to go back and find who all knows my plan, Baldhart knows where Aliron is.
Only Baldhart, Masama and Aliron was in on the plan. Would have told Mauve, but didn't get the chance.
