Hah. I doubt Cadell would try. XD He'll be more likely to try to help Matthew or Darin. (Speaking of Matthew, given all the damage he's taken, how many HP does he even have left? I'm finding it hard to keep track.)

Still on his feet, then. Okay. Just wondering whether Liadan would see fit to heal him first, being as she's right there, or go for the obviously worse-wounded Darin. I think "friend of Cadell" and "might be dying" kinda override "dwarf" as far as her reason to heal or not to heal him go. XD

Matthew undoubtedly looks pretty beat up, but he's still on his feet and fighting. She would easily recognize that he's hurt.

Oh, of course, no doubt about that. My question is "who can afford to wait another round or so for healing"? I think Matthew still has some fight left in him. Darin, not so much.

Darin's down and bleeding, but Liadan can't tell how close to death he is without a closer examination. He could last a few rounds or die next round for all she knows. Matthew is unlikely to be killed in a single round unless all of his attackers hit him and a couple do max damage or close to it

True enough. But conscious is still a step up from unconscious, which is my point.

EDIT: So, how close to death IS Darin, on a point of interest?

Good to know. So how much better is he now? I kinda doubt he's conscious yet, that spell wasn't too potent... and poor Cadell spent his only mana point for nothing. T_T

You totally ninja'd me, Keit, I had Cadell yell to her for help right after she got there! Don't worry though, I deleted my post as soon as I saw yours. Let's hope Darin is on his feet again soon!

I guess my roll wasn't good enough at 24(+4(backstab)+2(lvl&race) with 4(x2) damage.
His roll for damage was better then mine. See Post#2585

If Calexa had not moved forward Aliron would have went down for the first time if I didn't save, and would have been barely on my feet if I saved. (if I remember correctly I would be 1 or -3 depending on save, I think I am at 5hp.)

@Ireth, saves works like attribute checks: You add the character's lvl + the modifier if there is one. Also, carrying Darin is a check, so, her level should go there. =P[/COLOR]

It wouldn't have helped if I had. Liadan has no DEX mod, and her level is 2, which would only have brought her to an 8 with carrying Darin, and a 14 in fleeing. Either way she fails. As for Matthew, he never posted his stats anywhere, so I don't know which ones are prime (except CHA), nor which ones have mods.

I don't think Branwen was in the line of fire at all, so she should be okay, not unmoving.

Oh, sorry SeverinR. I was looking at this post in the thread: http://mythicscribes.com/forums/dragons-egg-rpg/7263-dragons-egg-act-ii-259.html#post124211 and overlooked the previous one somehow. I figured you were having trouble with the die roller or something and wanted me to attack for you
