Blind it!!! Keit can't do any attack spells but hello -i master at debilitating things! my first RPG chars were two vamp kids -one could scream to deafen, the other could shake the ground to unbalance foes!

Batos is infecting me.... now i am shaking cuz holy cow that wolf is lethal! :D

Hi all...looks like I'm going to be late getting in. Posting from phone now but I can't do the battle that way. Either post tonight or first thing in the morning, depending on what time I get in.

Just FYI, I was looking at Matthew's stats, and he doesn't have a CHA modifier, so the Inspire ability won't do anything. If Phietadix keeps playing, he can move some ability scores around to put at least a +1 in CHA.

Correct me if I'm wrong, O Black and Furry One, but being a knight, doesn't Matthew have CHA as a prime attribute regardless of any bonuses or penalties? IIRC, that sets the basic success threshold at 12, so a roll of 13 would have some effect. Might be a little late to factor that in now, but I was curious...

Going to be tonight, I'm afraid. Monday after most of the office being out two days last week and I'm swamped.

@Ireth - the problem isn't prime v. non-prime. The effect of Inspire is actually based on CHA modifier. For example, it gives the party members a bonus equal to the Knights CHA mod. So if the CHA mod is zero... I can't remember if those stats were changed later in the game, and there's no update for Matthew in the character update thread, so I'm going on his initial stats.

@Ireth - FYI, attacks and spellcasting are both standard actions, so only one can be done per round. The healing spell on Mauve will have to be Liadan's action for this round, though I had her go ahead and begin the casting.

Oh... then I'll delete her post for this round and save it for next. Good thing I had hers be the separate post this time!

You can opt for a different action next round, or whatever you prefer. Depending on what happens this round, she may not want to do the same thing so don't feel stuck with it.

*nods* I edited Liadan's post to show the healing spell rather than the arrow shot; it's probably best if she sticks with that rather than trying her bow again.

Getting ready for a meeting, so I'm going to give Keitsumah a little longer to take an action this round. Mauve will be up at the end of the round, so she can act next round.

I got hung up this morning dealing with some stuff for my dad, who hasn't been well. I'll post the update this evening whether everyone has acted or not.

Can we have him attack the same lizard again?
Rather then lose two attacks, we lose one.
Oh, he killed it, but another one shot at Baltos, so that one?
