Random observation: I love how we've gone from "band of men with one token female" to "equal gender distribution" over the course of the game. Even the pets keep things even, with a male wolf and a female harpy chick. ^^
Counting Nissa, we outnumber them! Ha, ha, huh… wait. In real life, I'm a guy.

Well, isn't Matthew still technically part of the group, even though he's not shown on the map? His character isn't gone, his player just hasn't had the chance to post lately. I should have had Cadell comment on Ankari calling him "the knight", and say "Are you talking about me, or Sir Matthew?" Oh well.

I guess everyone was ready for this fight. Of the first 5 attacks that hit (hopefully, mine included), damage was either max or one point short of max.

Cadell is feeling incredibly lucky right now. ^^; Bet he'll be happy to avenge his friends' injuries manifold.
By the way, Cadell's tall—he should probably target the higher-up enemy.
(It's probably the only lizard who can attack now, at least if my attack worked as planned.)
I would have used Baldy's height to get 'im—especially since he might be that bastard that shot her, but I couldn't resist charging and knocking one guy into another—which has worked before with the weaker lizards. Only the ground-level guys were paired so that would work.

Hm... I wonder if Liadan is near enough to get at the remaining lizard? Cadell's attack missed, and I have yet to finish Liadan's part of my post. She does have the advantage of being a devout of Oercus, meaning on top of her level bonus she gets a +2 to any shot she makes with her special bow. Worth a try?

That was a surprise for me as well. XD Shame I got my attack bonuses wrong and didn't actually roll an 18. :/
You got Cadell's bonus wrong, too, I think. Except for the Fighter class, the to hit bonus for STR/CON/CHA classes is one lower than the level. So Cadell and Baldy add +1 to hit in addition to STR. (Or did you lump in Cadell's STR and his to hit which totals +2?)

No, the +2 was only his level bonus. Cadell has a 9 in STR, which means no +1 there. I totally forgot about to-hit bonuses in both cases! *facepalm* You're right, Cadell should have an 11, and Liadan's attack is a ... *looks up Clerics' stuff* ... 17. So close, yet so far!

I think a 13 will hit these lizards. The stronger ones might have needed a 14. Since Alin already got a hit (a kill!) this turn, I assume your roll's a readied action for the first lizard to emerge from the west.

Fun fact: Recently, I've realized she earned both her corruption points trying to cast her shield spell, and worst, she never managed to put a single shield up, not for lack of trying. It's a fun fact for us, not for her. xD
