((I'll count that as 3, 2, 1. The combo is all from one spell. I won't bother with armor for now, though I may have some spells increase defense in a way.))
Round 1
Kell's vines wrap round Loki's neck. The writhing plants curl and harden and several tendrils rapidly punch Loki in the face!
He finally gets the bananas out of his holsters and fires two shots by squeezing actual bananas from their peels! When the banana projectiles get close, they burst and become webs! You're covered in a net made of banana-scented gunk!
((POWER S:#3E5 / K:#2E5 to break out!
2+ = free!
1 = feet rooted for 1 round = can't move, but CAN attack
0 = webbed!))
Sigrlinn throws up her arms to protect her face from Loki's banana projectiles, and struggles to free herself from the net she's caught in.
She manages to free her arms, and readies her bow. She has no arrows, but she wills one to appear on the string with magic, then aims it at Loki and his stupid, smug, fanged face.
Loki is struck by Sigrlinn's arrows. One lodges itself into his leg!
"You don't belong here!" he shouts. "But if you insist on overstaying your welcome--"
He doesn't finish his sentence, but instead skitters across his web. He stumbles in his step, buying time for Sigrlinn to either shoot another arrow -or- draw her blade and slash the web trapping Kell...
((@Ireth, free Kell = power))
((@tbgg, free self = power; you can attack Loki if you're free
free if one of you rolls a 2 -or- both of you roll a 1))
Kell frowns at Loki as she again tries to break herself free.
Since she remains stuck, she tells Loki, "First of all, I don't even know where HERE is, so that makes it hard to know which way leads out of HERE. Second of all, we only came HERE to get Heph and take him back to the mortal world with us. Third, we came HERE using hearth magic, but we don't have the ability to do that anymore. Fourth, we were trying to get back to where we came from from when YOU showed up and interrupted us. So YOU bear at least some of the blame for the fact we're still HERE, wherever the Hades that is."
She smirks at him with a raised eyebrow. What will this idiot of a god say about THAT?!?
While Kell speaks to Loki, Sigrlinn realizes she can move free of her net. She rushes to free Kell from her web, using the sword Heph magicked up for her.
As she hacks at the webs, she yells to Loki, "YOU don't belong here either! Hypocrite!"
Kell tries to swing out of the way of Loki's attack via the vine she's climbing
But the vine releases its hold and nearly drops her. She is able to grab another one and prevent herself from falling, but she is unable to dodge Loki's attack.
Gritting her teeth, she ignores the pain and sends another vine after him
The magic is stronger that time, but she is unable to capitalize on her extra opportunity.
To Loki, she replies simply, "He's wanted. Besides if this place is of the Asgardians, I should think you'd be only too happy to get rid of him. He's an Olympian - he doesn't belong with you Asgardians." While Kell knows Heph is on the same side she is in the war between the Immortals, she isn't completely sure what he all he does for her side, aside from the aid he's provided in he form of the metal maidens and hitting her and Sigrlinn on the head with his hammer to increase their knowledge in certain areas.
As Loki's blades cut into you, bright light emanates from your wounds. Wispy fire-white smoke bleeds from Sigrlinn's side and Kell's thigh. Whatever pain you feel--if any--is gone in an instant. You get a feeling like you don't quite belong in this world--
--but you both snap out of it and fight back!
Kell's vine tightens around a spider leg. There is a crunching sound as yellowish ooze leaks from a crack in Spider-Loki's exoskeleton.
Sigrlinn's attack bounces harmlessly, but a second strike in the same spot plunges through the spider body.
Heph's mansion sails over the world's edge! The ivy from Kell's spell prevents you both from falling--
--and Loki's spider body is made for walking on walls and ceilings. He responds to your bold words,
"It's not a matter of being wanted! It's a matter of where he can go. You get his soul out of the knife, and then what?"
But again has no luck. She wonders, 'Blast it, why am I so klutzy?'
She also sends another vine moving toward him to attack.
She thinks, 'He's a god. We need to do more than nickel and dime him to death. We need a BIG attack. I wish Helix was here.'
Kell doesn't actually understand what Loki's talking about, so she smiles sweetly and says, "What will be, will be." If Loki thinks he can pump Kell for information, the god will just have to think again.
Sigrlinn's arrows tear through Loki. The first strikes below the abdomen where his spider and human halves meet. The second strikes under his rib. Loki gasps at the pain of his punctured lung. As he stands slack-jawed, Sigrlinn's third arrow tears the flesh from his left cheek.
He charges straight down the wall, plowing through any magical vines that try to hold him!
((Defense = power!
Also, choose your position: stay together, or split up.))
Kell notes Sigrlinn staying nearby as Loki charges down the wall, so she moves to stand in solidarity with her friend, relying on their combined strength to repel Loki's attack.
You both have a solid lock on Loki as you catch his charge! Kell's magic vines solidify your stances, minimizing any advantage in size Spider-Loki has versus your combined weight.
He struggles uselessly as the three of you are suspended upside-down over the black-hole sun…
((You can attack. Since you're close, Sig should use her blade. Kell's vines can work.))
