I'm getting ready to sit back down now. Unfortunately I was at work earlier when I was reading posts and got interrupted in the middle and never made it back to it.

Meanwhile, Baldhart is being a troll. ._.
Mauve was caught sneaking away and her intentions are obvious since all she talked about was getting her stuff, which from Baldhart's POV seemed far more important to Mauve than the threat of thirty enemies. Part of Baldhart's reason for coming to Mauve (when whispered) is she figured if Mauve is close (and Ankari as well, when she saw them both), that clearly means they intend to come into town. Being spotted will cause a panic, Baldy thinks, which will expose Arendal's weakness to the gnolls.

Baldhart could care less about whether Mauve gets her stuff now or later, but knows it's important to Mauve and that failure to help Mauve will cause other problems.

Trolling would be if I had Baldhart say, "but don't give her the knife." (Which is exactly what she would say if she knew Mauve's darkest thoughts.)

Hahaha, no, troll because Mauve is already sneaking in now, the "damage" is done. She might reach the inn only to discover her stuff gone to the edge of the forest (only if anyone lingers to warn or leave a note).

You don't know all her darkest thoughts. >3

Oh, and where is the stone knife? Was it returned to the group? Last time I heard about it it was handed over to a militia guy.

All of Mauve' possessions were returned to the party.

I'm going to post an update for Ankari. Mauve made it into the inn and can post in the main thread. I'll update that later today, and Ireth and Severin will probably have posted by then.

Wow ireth i have just read over the last page or 2 and heard about your problems, I had a similar problem once, and I could not get it rectifyed for the life of me. it may be a long shot, but depending on what browser you use you may have to log into a captive portal beforehand. I doubt this is the case but you never know.

The fact that your saying everyone else can log on fine really confuses the subject and in my opinion means that it is your laptop and not the router. The router is obviously working fine or nobody else could connect to it. Now in my opinion as well, the problem must lie with the part of your laptop that actually connects to wifi networks. It could be as simple a problem as you have bumped the laptop and a component has come loose inside, Or it could be a physical fault. In either case, the fact you paid a technician $170 to take a look at it, and he has no idea what is wrong is a serious fault on his behalf. He should not have taken the money if he had no clue what was wrong. perhaps he could have taken the hourly wage for his time, but that is all, that is daylight robbery. You could have bought A cheap laptop for $170.

I feel really bad for you because I know how fristrating these things are, you can spend hours and hours looking for a fault and it may well turn out to be something really stupid.

Well, I went back to the techie yesterday and finally got more answers. Apparently the trouble is/was with both my laptop AND the router, and what was wrong in the laptop is fixed now (some sort of corruption, which was what the $170 covered -- good to know it wasn't wasted!), so I just have to phone up the guys who installed my router and see if they can send somebody to have a look at it. Here's hoping!

OK, I responded to situations where NPCs are involved or GM input is needed. If I missed anything, let me know. It looks like the other conversations are taking place amongst PCs. I'll wait for Ankari to post again before updating what is going on there.

I think Liadan's words for Baldy should take place before she and Bressel leave, or else Liadan could go out with them while she speaks. She's NOT going to let Baldhart go before she can finish saying what she has to say, that's for sure.

I edited my post with "Inside"/"Outside" since I was thinking the same thing. Baldy does walk away after, partly because she's in a hurry to burn dogs to death (or sit in a boat idiotically for several hours if they don't show up), and partly because the GM post says she's heading to the boat.
