Valar Lord@Severin, you rolled a 12. I don't know if SP combines our rolls, or if that happens before Baldy's return. Anyway, don't forget to add 8 to the roll. 1 = level, 3 = STR mod, 4 = Primeval Instinct skill which is the reason to pick a barbarian over a fighter. Fighters maybe be better in battle, but barbarians are really, really strong. (Well, the +4 is for DEX and CON checks as well, but STR is the one you'll use most. Maybe you'll use DEX a lot too since your barb's DEX doesn't suck.)
Valar LordFYI: Earlier today I tried to access the MS and couldn't, the network somewhere between I live and the forum is hosted may be failing. If I disappear now you know why.
When we notice the sentries' movement, are we still close enough to shore that Nissa can fly high over land? I know Mauve plans to create a diversion, but if we can have two, I might just do that…From what you know of the sentry movements, it's going to be impossible to make it all the way to the Crow without more than one sentry being at the edge of the cliffs at some point during the journey (at least if they'e on their normal pattern). Three boats coming in together where the sea was otherwise empty before is going to be hard to miss if they look out over the ocean at all. I'll roll for them. I'll leave a little more time in case you guys want to post anything specific in terms of dealing with the sentries or your approach to the Crow, and then we'll move onward. PM sent to Nihal![]()
Mythic ScribeNot for checks. For checks, you add level. For fighting/shooting, you add base-to-hit (which varies for each class. All d10/d12 classes have BtH one below level except fighter; d6, d8, and d4 classes increase BtH every 2, 3 or 4 levels).
Valar LordBah, then I think I've been rolling those wrong all this time too. ._.

Valar LordI'm still having site trouble. It just hangs, trying to load forever and many of the images aren't showing up. I wasn't able to update the thread this morning, but will do so as soon as I get home if I can.
