Writing a number of books from your world

As many of you may or may not be doing but I have a few stories that comes from the same world, but I'm not sure if I should describe the books as a collection or something else altogether. Tales perhaps?

If the stories interact, I'd call a collection. If they are only in the same world, I'd go with tales. That's just me.

Are you talking about the over-arching title itself, for example 'The Chronicles of Narnia?' Or are you talking about how you would describe them if you were writing a synopsis? 'A collection from the world of...'
