I'm glad my posts from last night made sense. I got about four hours sleep Sunday and worked 14 hours yesterday on a hard deadline. I posted just before bed and got up this morning thinking "By Jove! I hope I didn't post complete gibberish!"

Update later this evening. I'm at a conference in Universal City, and the organizers didn't spring for wifi :/ on the positive side, it's nicely catered and it's a beautiful day in the L.A. area.

Hey guys...it is going to be this weekend, most likely, before I can post. I'm reduced to being on my phone, on the road. Just FYI, I received a promotion earlier this year and have just been getting hammered with additional responsibilities at work, and I'm also responsible for training our interns. Thankfully, next Monday the 13th, we have someone new starting and I should catch a break after that. I can't really update the game from my phone :/

Take as much time as you need, I check back 2-3 times a week.
Probably won't check as often the first and 3rd weekend though.

Hey guys - checking in I'm trying to get unburied at work. I was pulled into a huge case, and I've spent I don't know how many hours doing document review in addition to my normal workload. I just haven't had time for hardly anything. The deadline for the end of this doc review is July 17, the end of this upcoming weekend.
What I'd like to do is sort of reset things in the game at that point. Maybe jump to the party's return to Ballara so everyone is together and let the players regain their footing and move forward from there. Does that sound OK with everyone? Is everyone still interested in moving forward, given the absence I've had lately?
Let me know what you all think.

Yes, I'm still in, regardless of how long the game's been paused. I think fast-forwarding so our characters are with tbbg's character is a good way to jump back into the game.
Oh… but I should add that my sister-in-law is visiting from Hong Kong tomorrow. So if my replies are not as frequent and blabbermouthy as usual, that's the reason.

I haven't forgotten you all. I'm still just swamped at work - two cases in Federal District Court right now. Can't remember the last time I even had a weekend day where I wasn't working. Our firm let a lot of people go last year when we were slower, and now we're paying for it. Filing deadlines in court are coming up Oct 3 and 6, and from what I've been told we can expect it to slow down a lot after that.
