Last year was the year of loss, this is the year of rebirth.
This time last year we lost 3 family members. Then both daughters got married end of August.

So this is the year of rebirth. :dance:

OMG my browser has crashed twice, both times with rather lengthy updates party written. I'm going to post the update in segments - maybe three posts - to avoid that problem. I'm writing on my tablet. Should be posted shortly. Considering that this will be the third time I've written the same update, it shouldn't take me long.

@SP: I post via tablet, too, some of the time, and they are definitely quirky. Can you use Tapatalk on yours? The one thing I don't like about it is you can't format your text, but in terms of the crashes, it does seem to be a lot more stable.

I can. I may have to download that. I just use the browser, and I load the site in desktop mode. That probably doesn't help.

Either Aliron's checking on everyone alphabetically and only got as far as the B's, or he thinks barbarians are like children.

One sang himself to sleep and the other stood in her underwear waiting for someone to dress her. Alin gets no argument from me.

No big deal, Philster. I figured you were busy. I was just playing up Baldy feeling foolish about her own actions. Not the first time she set herself up for embarrassment; won't be the last.

Had that happen on posts here and other forums on here. I try to remember to copy before I click post.
That way if it fails or crashes I will have it.

I didn't even think of it at the time, but Baldhart saying she'd ask for volunteers from Ballara actually works as a way in for tbgg. I'm not sure how Baldy will react when she says, "I know Sir Matthew! He told me all about you!"

Baldy's just lucky Cali has a strong enough interest in training her magic that she's willing to take a chance on the party, plus having been raised by her grandparents and taught by her especially wise cleric grandmother, she's an old soul in some ways. She's actually more anxious about how Baldy will respond to learning she has magic!
