Oh… how cool!

I'm not sure if Nissa should know more about dark gods, but I figure she's only seen the good ones. (Maybe Loki. I always fancied he'd met Nissa once, and had something to say about the shortest valkyrie he's ever seen.)

But her place is to guide souls, not talk to gods other than Brynhild. I imagine she only guides souls to the good god(desse)s

A spot check is WIS based. So use that if you're looking for something hidden or details that might not normally be noticed. For things that can be seen normally, you don't need to make a check.

Okay. Will the elves know if it's the right caravan just by looking at it, or will I need a roll to see details/make sure? (Assuming it is the right caravan, of course.)

We don't have details of the caravan Tarlack mentioned, but to Cadell, it may not be obvious that non-elves just see dust. I'll have Nissa clarify her limitation in-character.

Steerpike never said it was a human caravan, so I don't know if Cadell can see that without a roll to check for details.

True—it says "people" not "humans." But it is a caravan, and I'm under the impression Nissa doesn't even know that. (It makes sense to guess caravan because we were expecting one.)

I think if someone told her it's a caravan, she'd chance flying out to meet it (or warn us if they're drow/Inquisition/scary/being chased/etc.).

Is everyone caught up to the caravan, then, or did Baldy move ahead? I did say there's an hour's travel between them and the party, at least for those on foot.

Yeah, there is a bit of travel time. If anyone has other events they want to RP during that time, feel free to include it. I'll respond to any posts that require my response as well. Barring that, we're moving ahead around an hour or so to let people interact with the caravan.
