@SP, hope I didn't take too many liberties. I figured if Zoran wasn't intervening (other than words), no one would, and I didn't wanna keep RP'ing Baldhart with her hands around a naked girl's throat.

The CHA check was to see if she'd break into tears over her brutal killing, the dead kid, lost souls… I see her being on the edge, emotionally, but wanting to keep the illusion of being strong. I thought I'd let a die roll decide her success because I was really on the fence about how to RP that.

Who else is shocked that Cadell actually succeeded with a healing spell for once? Dunno if it'll wake her, but it'll take care of the wound in her leg.

Bressel and Aliron will be on auto-pilot for a little bit.

My Dad passed away this morning, driving to Arizona. I will have a computer and will try to post.

You'll be in my thoughts and prayers Severin. I am fortunate enough to have known even one of my great grand parents (now deceased) and I can't imagine losing my mother and father or my grand parents.

I think Nissa's sleepiness may have worn off by now, but I'm just waiting for SP to confirm that before I post her RP/WIS check.

When you roll a natural 20, I think you should be able to just make stuff up instead of having to wait for a GM post. So that's what I did!

Nah, I'm kidding.

I rolled this morning and PM'd the roll, so SP had already told me how the check went when he updated. I had to pick up my daughters after work, so I just posted the quick reply for Nissa waking, and on the way home, I was thinking, "Life energy. The witch was gonna heal and zap us!"

When I got home, ready to post Nissa's WIS check, SP sent a PM telling me that the witch was planning to heal herself, cast another lightning bolt, and run away! I hadn't actually mentioned my suspicion to him, as it was just a thought that entered my mind while I was on the road, so it was funny to see that confirmed.

It would have been a valiant effort on her part had you simply given her the knife. That's all she wanted. Just the knife. Was that so hard?

It's okay. She's in Hell now. They have lots of knives she can play with there.

Serves him right! And he better plan on forking over that loot. Baldhart made an oath, but Aliron didn't.

I suppose Nissa should just fly out to get the other kids. She won't be able to study the knife if Skivver brings the fight to us.

I'm confused about what us happening and what I should be doing.

Lots of interactions are happening at once.

We're also having Skivver (the kobold who surrendered to us, which led to the alliance) lure the remaining dark elves to where we are.

Nissa's likely going to stay out of this battle and get the other kids back. They'll likely return after the battle is over.

Worth noting: Baldhart, Bressel and Zoran are still 3HP short of full health. We might want to see if we get through this next fight unscathed, though this fight will be easier than the last.

Has anyone heard from Ankari or Nihal lately? They haven't posted in-game for a while. Just wondering what their characters are up to.

The paladin scared them off. Remember the wanted posters? I'm sure they just moved on, but plot-wise, it kinda works.



EDIT - Also, Nissa would thank Liadan if she had heard her response to Keit. I didn't have my characters reply because Baldy is with Tarlack and Nissa is on her way to Burnbright. Her reply to the kids was offered in the GM post, so I had her reply before flying off to Play-by-PMville.
