The equipment list is longer too. Has whistles and horns, a bag of marbles etc.
Encumberance: does not work.
Aliron carries leather armor (1ev), long sword (2ev) schimitar (2ev), bow and arrows-(4 ev) and a hidden dagger (1ev) he equals his encumberance (10) with nothing else and these numbers are with everything worn, nothing to bear. add 1 to each item in use.
drop everything he doesn't need, he drops to 8. Any equipment would weigh him down. He doesn't carry much, but I would probably say he is lightly encumbered, he sits stuff down to fight, but he is close to encumbered just with his weapons and armor.
Everyone that doesn't get a str bonus or have strength or con prime only gets 10. Max is 16. It doesn't specify what is light, moderate heavy encumbered.
Yes, Baldhart's level and Monk modifier are included in the CON save difficulty. I should note that I didn't count the first round where Baldhart had to get to the sorceress in the dark, then grabbed her and rolled her into a sleeper hold, as one of the rounds where the sorceress had to hold her breath. I was counting from the first full round of her being in that hold.
Yeah, it's a +3 mod. She's got this round to go and then a possibility of failing her CON check every round. She missed her grapple check for this round by a point or two. Post coming ASAP.
No WIS check needed. A quick check is enough to see that she is breathing, and she's not bleeding out from the wounds or anything like that. So I think it works as written.
It just occurred to me that I rolled totally ignoring the part where Baldhart is off the ground. (I thought the spider was walking, not using a web to go up.)
Is the spider moving up quickly or slowly? Because it occurs to me that Baldhart might want to let go. If she thinks Masama can get in the spider's reach, then yeah, she'd want to keep the choke going.
Yeah, then she'll hang on (even though with that roll, she'll likely get flung off). So, 35% chance Baldhart keeps the choke going. And the CON save has about the same odds.
Well, the caster's rolls have been 2 points behind mine so far. So if she rolls high when I do, then low when I do... (Yeah, I'm not superstitious. Random is random. An interesting fight regardless!)
EDIT - Not this turn, and I'm not asking for a guarantee it'll work... but does it look like something she'd be able to cut with her sword? (She might try burning instead.)
