lol. yeah, Batos prefers to be prepared. And now that Keit is away to what he can consider relatively safe (or at least as safe as she can get right now) he's going to act a bit less... controllable. He's only going to listen to himself and do his own thing at this point.

Hey guys...sorry to be MIA. Got one client getting sued and another about to sue someone, so it has been 12-14 hour days at work and I've been tired when I get home. I'll catch up on the thread today!

We had a trial once in a Call of Cthulu game. The PCs were convicted, managed to kill some of the courthouse personnel, and were shot to death by cops outside. Ah, Call of Cthulhu...

My internet/posting time will be limited for a while. I'm at my parents' house until early December, and internet use at the library costs $3 per hour. Ugh. After this I'll be in Tennessee for two weeks, then back here for Christmas. Not sure how much internet time I'll get down in TN.

It'll take Keit a few minutes to escort the kids and get them up into the comparative safety of the tunnel you used to sneak in. It looks to me like the group wants to move ahead to the guards and take care of them before Keit gets back. Is that right? If you're going to wait for Keit to return, let me know. It will take her a few minutes to get the kids to safety.
Yeah, I believe everyone (who posted) agrees to kill right away while Keit's bringing the children to safety, and not wait for Keit (at least not until the guards are dead). I think the general consensus is to get to the guards immediately since they expect the kobolds to deliver the children.

I can't seem to access Rolz on the computers in the library, which makes attacking difficult both here and in FE. :/ I might be able to try on my Dad's laptop, but he's only here on weekends. Boo.

Hey guys...you mind if we delay until this weekend? I'm still working long hours and I'm leaving for a seven hour drive tomorrow as part of my Thanksgiving travels. I need to make a map and get the battle going, but it is going to be hard for me to do that before this weekend when I can relax a bit.

Steerpike, I just realized I still don't know how much Liadan's Mana increased after she leveled up. That'd be a good thing to know before we engage much more in battle.

Oh, thanks for the reminder Ireth. I'll be back home this evening and post the mana increase. I forgot to do it last week!

SP, you did say that you can't get corrupted from Lv.0 spell-fails, right? I see my character as wanting to do all in her power to avoid corrupting herself, and I probably wouldn't even use Lv.0 spells anyway, but… well, there might be useful spells at that extremely low level.
Nissa has WIS as a prime, so she might have a chance of actually casting something (with that not-on-her-spell-list penalty, since she has no spell list). Baldhart would probably have to roll a 20—assuming it's -4 for not on list and -6 for not being a rime. If the not-on-list penalty is actually -10, then… yeah, that ain't happening!
I don't really have any plans for actually having my characters learn magic, but I just want to know the rules on that in case they ever do have an interest. (And I supposed they'd need to have an in-game way of knowing that some spells are "safe.")

I can't believe it is already Thursday. I still haven't looked up Liadan's MP, though this time I've made a note to do it rather than rely on my poor memory. I'm going to go ahead and update without a map, though we'll need one soon enough. I just haven't had time to sit down and make one as I'm getting in to work early and home very late.
How close are the black elves?
