Wait, where were Baldhart and the others chatting? I thought Mauve was already in Baldhart's room. Mauve won't see Baldhart entering the room, it's Baldhart who will find Mauve.

...in case she does, she'll see her own room door ajar. Sitting majestically on her bed will be Mauve, ready to greet her with the smuggest smile on her face.

They volunteered me to umpire my daughters game last night, I told our team:

Wow, that's a tough day!

On the other hand, mine is great. A family member just got out of surgery, everything went well and the prognostic is good. Phew, a heavy weight looming over everyone here for months was lifted.

Hey guys - I'm going to try to catch up tonight. I've been delayed by work - we're losing one of our employees and the rest of us have been utterly swamped. It's pretty much work and sleep I've only had time for drive-by posts lately.

Joe the Gnarled will be joining the game, though I don't know exactly when (in the near future I suspect).

As for me, it is looking like this weekend I'll have to make a major push to update everything. I apologize for the long delay. We had an employee leave unexpectedly and I'm being swamped in work (12-14 hours most days). Yesterday was the only day off I've had in just over two weeks, and my daughter came out to visit so I spent it with her

At any rate, the projects resulting from our employee leaving need to be finished one way or another by Friday, so this weekend I should be able to catch everything up. Sorry about that!

Joe the gnarled...Could be a stealthy, doesn't sound like a very good caster, a seasoned warrior? Doesn't sound like a healer.

Interesting name though.
I'm betting right off, Aliron won't trust him. Suprise I know.

Joe the Gnarled is the member's name, but that could work well as a character name. How do I draw a gnarled person? And his name is Joe, so does he look ordinary, but gnarled? Or is the the antithesis of Joe Average because he's way more gnarled than the average person, including wrinkly elders (who look gnarled in the opinions of some)?

Hey guys - I'm not dead We have hired someone to replace our missing employee, so I can get back to regular hours. Also, I shouldn't be traveling in the near future (much of the last two weeks I've been on the road and without internet, except over my phone).

Oh, sure... after Nissa goes through all that trouble to convince the priest the party isn't made up of evil freaks, the wizard she was sitting next to casts a dragonskin spell.

Congrats on the natural 20! I guess that's yet another character we'll need to hide from the civilized world, but... wow, that's cool!
