@Ankari, I believe rangers, rogues and barbarians are the expert climbing classes.
For those who can't climb, Baldhart left a rope by the cliff's edge. I'm not sure if the gnolls used the rope. It sounded like they just climbed the cliffside like Baldhart did.

Bressel rushed back into battle to protect both Aliron and Nissa, I think he hit, but not definate.
So… of all the potential rescuers, the leader of the child-murdering pack is defending me. I grab the nearest foe to my right.
Glad you said "to my right", because I wasn't sure your post excluded Gendra.
Interesting scenerio approaching:
Aliron is shooting fish in a barrel...I mean hallway. When suddenly Baldhart bursts in with Gendra rushing in behind. (Or even reversed, Baldhart chasing after Gendra)
Aliron just shoots a biped puppy instead of a biped fishy.
Oops, did dogman leader get killed? I never promised anything.

Hey all! Back for christmas leave for 2 weeks! So can someone give me a brief update, untill I have time to read over everything, just more of a what I have missed tye of update.

Ok,
"Ankari killed the priest because he wanted to burn the harpy child, Mauve helped Ankari escape, the town wants both of them, so they fled. Aliron took Burnbright and Branwen to hide in the forest, Meanwhile the gnolls are approaching and several group members went out to have tea and kibble with them.
Prep for the battle with the gnolls was under way, resources placed in strategic places. Baldhart was dirty and sweety so she went to bathe in the ocean, pissing off a large group of Fishmen that were swimming by. They attacked, the town rallied to battle. A drunk fishman riding a serpent crashed into and destroyed the stairway to fishdom, fishmen entered a cave that led to the hiding place of women and children. The gnolls arrived and in their honor Nissa decided to hold a fish fry but had trouble getting enough oil to the location and the fishmen refused to stand there and fry, so she has to chase after them. Aliron and Ankari are using arrows to get the fishmen to be dinner for the gnolls. So the leader of the gnolls and Baldhart are having a tough person contest, Baldhart with her bare hands and brute strength and the gnoll with his sword and paws. The townspeople have not noticed or don't care about Ankari being back to help. Baltos and Mauve did a swan dive into the ocean, Mauve was able to walk from the water, Baltos did the dead bug and had to be pulled from the water and is sleeping on the shore.
To Aliron it seems like Branwen and Burnbright have been gone for half a year but it was only yesterday, Aliron must feel like a parent.
The townspeople were totally unprepared and have no where near enough fish flakes nor kibble for the two parties that have arrived, so everyone is upset about this.
Too make a long story short...

I don't think it's a good idea to use this kind of summary because his character doesn't know half of these things. :/

Thank you very much, Wow im surprised I have not missed more.
When I left we had just defeated the sea creatures and the staircase was cracked and falling, Batos was injured in the water and me and nissa had shown the townspeople that we used magic however the two militiamen did not really care as we were aiding them.

We have more sea creatures now. What you saw:
Fish demons rushing up the cliffside, into the cave. Baldy stripped off her armor (now clad in rags) and climb quickly into the fray, with Ghendra at her side. 5 gnolls and Ankari and Baldy are all heading into the caves, while 2 gnolls followed militia men to the non-climbing path to the same caves.
Nissa, Alin and Bressel had gone inside earlier when the first couple of demons went in.
I don't think anyone knows what became of the giant creature. He seems to have left since his driver was killed.

Now that I know how grappling works, I edited my post so Baldy can do what she intended based on our grappling discussion. Basically, she wants to damage the enemy and send him over the cliff's edge. I guess that needs to be a throw, not a slam. And she's throwing the enemy at the cliff's edge, not at another enemy (unless a climber pokes his head into view and is hit by his airborne buddy). I have no idea whether the momentum would cause the enemy to flop over the edge or if his body would flop into the climbers or past them. I'm very sure the falling body will only annoy the climbers, since they can't drown.
But annoying enemies is fun.

It was one year ago today that Dragon's Egg began in earnest. Since then there have been changes, but the awesomeness remains. May the new year bring more and ever-better adventures in the world of Dragon's Egg, and good luck to all of you in your writing projects in or out of the game.

Speaking of… is Hall waiting for a healer to respond to him. I think he's badly wounded, unless he was healed already. Hard to keep track with this vacation—which hasn't yet ended for me thanks to a snow storm!

Yes, it will be a base 10 AC for Nissa to throw from where she is. If she was far away, throwing at the limit of her range, I'd up the AC a bit to account for difficulty, but she is close to where she is aiming.
You're right, too, that the fish demon can't roll high enough to avoid being grappled. I'll make a roll for the fish demon, though, to see how close to the 24 the demon rolls, but Baldy has the demon in her grips in any case.
