In case my post doesn't make it obvious, Baldhart is now a monk. (She prefers the term 'nun.') That's why she took off her armor. She can outrun all you slowpokes (well… by 5 feet per turn).

Oh, please, we know how she enjoys running around in few clothes!

P.S.: Forgot to congratulate for the unbelievable roll. You had to make it badass, didn't you? xD

I should have done a grapple check. That would have been a 31. But then, now's not the best time to throw Ghendra off a cliff.

Baldhart expects her life to be short. Before she goes, she's going to abuse that anti-cold ring in as many ways as she can think of!

Let's just hope she doesn't see Nissa and say, 'yeah… an outfit made entirely out of human blood. I could pull off that look!'

Not using the rope wouldn't have looked badass if I rolled a natural one.

Follow me, slowpokes!

Looking foolish while standing right next to the barbarian who got attacked while nightswimming? I still think Baldhart keeps her title as Queen of the Fools. And the Queen of the Fools is a bit concerned that her next act of foolishness will be charging into battle by herself.

In the dark.

She lost all her glowy rocks.

*pitiful sigh* Here, lets pretend keit gave Baldart her necklace before Baldart left (after being asked) so that Baldart isn't completely blind.

No worries.

Baldhart is usually the one who talks too much, actually. Now she has mixed feelings about this battle. A part of her wants to show her strength before the gnolls. A part of her wants them dead. A part of her suspects they are currently doing something that would mean they deserve to die. And a part of her suspects she's the only one who suspects it.

It looked like Keit read Baldhart's mind. Baldhart didn't actually mention anything about assigning an Official leader, it was thought. Be careful to avoid giving mind reading powers to you characters. Legendary gave me an angry message for less than that ((Ok it wasn't really that angry, but still . . .))

ah...Thats how Aliron thinks...about everyone. (bolding mine)

Mauve is so distracted she missed a 7 ft tall semi naked woman with a giant sword in a sea of dogs?

Even if she saw why would she follow them? The villagers would freak out if they saw her crawling out of the sea and moving with ease on the stone wall.

This is a non-angry clarification:

Baldhart isn't standing one foot away from Keit talking. I wasn't going to bother pointing that out, but I will now as it's causing confusion. See my first post: she let her armor drop and sprinted to the wall. I rolled the climb, which means she's on the wall unless SP reduced her movement because she had to remove armor.

Her only part in the wordy dialogue was calling the party over to her. Ironically, she's being told to talk less, but that was the only reason she spoke at all: to try to get others to talk less.

This would also mean it's likely that Keit couldn't give her the necklace, but of course, that's just my opinion; it's not my call.

@Nihal, I think after seeing a barbarian skinny-dip in ice water, a blood-soaked valkyrie and wanted murderer both declaring themselves 'protectors,' and talking muscle-dogs offering aid against fish-demons… yellow-eyed Mauve walking up a wall would make all seem right with the world.

and this is why i prefer being able to edit my posts if something happens that i don't notice till later on... see this for an example of my other writing which usually gets edited over and over again...(and i am under the same username)

okay, since Cadell nor Liadan has responded to keit, could you edit out my second post and then tweak my first post so that keit does notice that Baldart is nearby and thus does not make a fool of herself? I can try to get Baldart the necklace more realistically then.

sorry I haven't been able to post yet. Wifi here is really spotty. :/ I'm safe and sound where I want to be, though, after an inordinately nerve-wracking time getting here.

I wouldn't worry about it, and don't feel foolish. It's easy to get caught up in other things in life, then goof up in-game posts. I'll leave it to SP to edit/delete, just in case he's already doing the GM post… I don't want to step on his toes.

They're scared enough and Mauve had her display of magic already. We shouldn't push it*. ._.

It is gold. It just didn't make sense that she'd be where he could push her (unless he's trying to push her off the cliff—I imagined she was on the ledge when she said, 'hurry down here…'), which is why I posted to clarify.

I don't even know if Baldy could make it to the cliff in one turn. That's simply what I attempted, hence the STR roll.

Who knows? The push might be the reason she does make it that far…?
