I really hope Cadell's singing helps people's next rolls. Dunno if those in the tunnels can hear him, but mostly everyone else should be able to, right?

It's checks only, not all rolls. But still, Liadan's STR check needs all the help it can get!
Inspire is for hit rolls, so when we're in the fight, that'll be useful.

Well, I should point out (apologetically) that Hall did post. It's Aldar who did not, but Something to Ponder did mention he'd be online a lot for some time.
Seeing how Hall is engaged in battle, I do hope we get Batos up soon! And maybe it wouldn't hurt for Baldhart to try pulling harder (re-rolling). If the prayer to Brynhild can still give Baldy a +2 for this task, that and the +2 from Exalt means Baldhart can't possibly roll worse than a 14 (her current roll).

Went one more round without a map. Work interfered, and I'm slow enough with maps that if I'd made one I wouldn't have got to the update until much later

Pretty sure Liadan's check worked this time! I wasn't sure if Baldy's prayer was still working, so I didn't factor it into my roll, but I got a 13 regardless.

Yeah Liadan can hold Batos with that roll.

Should Cadell roll to help with the pulling too? I doubt his Exalt last turn would work on himself, but he might be able to try, unless it's safer that he just acts as an anchor.
Play it safe. Don't roll.
With Baldy's 14, we could make it. My gamble at a re-roll would have cost us if not for Exalt. I'm only 1 point better than before (3 with prayer).
The only reason to reroll was if I had a good roll like "Natural Nineteen" Nissa (a 19 would've meant 30 STR if Baldy rolled that), Baldy would have said, "I've got this," freeing Cadell and Keit to knock monsters off cliffs.
Cadell and Keit have no reason to roll since STR isn't a prime. There's little chance you'll out roll Baldhart even with a lousy 15 (with non-prime, you'd need a 22 to beat her), and there's no chance you'll roll high enough to pull a lady and dog up without help.
I don't know if rolling could harm, but it can't make us more successful than we already are.

Good point. But I'm now out of Exalts for today, so Cadell's basically just standing there. Not much reason for me to post with him for this round, really.
I think you can RP him helping pull Liadan without rolling. I think that would effectively mean he's lending his strength to Baldy's task (where I rolled for Baldy to see if she needed help—though it's probably best she has it, since maybe with three on the rope we can move Liadan up faster than with one?). But yeah… you already posted, so that's up to you.
Baldy talked too much last turn. Luckily, the flames aren't out.

I think the men grappling with the lizard would give both attacks a bonus to hit, but Aliron and Bressel didn't need it.
I think Aliron might have killed it, but Bressel didn't want to take the chance.
Bressel did a nice hit, but less then half max damage.
If not dead, the fish is very low on hp.
Moral of the story, don't mess with kids and turn your back on Aliron.

Bowling for fishies. He might not get a strike, but he has a second to try for a spare.

quick question -would Keitsumah be able to hear the Gnolls coming? I doubt it to be honest but i thought i'd ask.
ohhhh -hala! there's actually a good reason keit, Baldy, Liadan and Cadell are all out of that cave besides saving Batos. If they have to deal with the gnolls at least they wont have to climb out! then they can get to the trap area quicker!

I think SP mentioned the barking, so Keit could deduce what it is.
Batos is no longer bleeding out, but he'll sleep for a while. As long as we don't get rushed by a fish demon, we're fine.
