Is anyone else highly amused by the fact that the side thread has pretty much become the main thread? XD

Maybe Baldhart's jealous, and that's why she's gossiping with Nissa about all five PCs on the Side Trek thread.

Hopefully, Ankari's in the play-by-PM zone and things are moving on his end. Actually, it may be more fun if his end is played by PM. That way our characters act without us knowing if he got to the gnolls or whether the letter changed their path. Baldhart will move as if they'll come to her anyway, even thinking they're more likely not to, but it's easier to RP her lack of knowledge/certainty when I really don't know.

No, Ankari's in the side thread. I'm still waiting on him to respond to Cadell. He hasn't reached the gnolls yet.

Mauve is locked until she and Líadan reach (or not) the two. She's glad Líadan stopped talking and trying to deter her.

Liadan still wants to know why Mauve is there, but doesn't want to ask for fear of being mocked for being noisy. :/ Which would really make Mauve a hypocrite, since I think she's made more noise so far than Liadan did, at least as far as talking goes.

The mockery has been super effective! It's not the noise, it's the message and questions she doesn't want to answer contained in this noise.

Baldy's locked, too. She needs to know if Gisla will give her old clothes she doesn't care about so Baldhart can invent swimwear, thus giving Gisla another reason to be disappointed in her.

I'm kinda stuck with Liadan at this point... I'm not sure how far apart she and Cadell are right now, or how much of a head start Ankari got on her, so I have no idea what she may or may not encounter between point A and point B (which may very well be nothing, but I want to keep things open in case Steerpike decides to throw a curveball).

Funny how much Ankari and Nissa agree, based on the latest Ankari post. Nissa will say her piece if she gets a chance… not that the party will ever know, Baldhart included, if it happens the way I'm thinking. (Plans often change.)

@LS And Mauve is with them. She might disagree with his methods and she didn't have the chance to rebuke him for picking mainly religious people as targets (c'mon, people suck being religious or not! xD), but she often agreed with his view. She's simply doesn't know to express herself so well as him or Nissa. It must be the low CHA.

OK, on the side treks thread:

I think Ankari is continuing toward the gnolls, so Liadan and Mauve won't encounter him.

Cadell will reach Liadan and Mauve only a few moments after speaking to Ankari, assuming Cadell continues back toward Arendal.

As Ankari did, Liadan and Mauve will hear Cadell coming before he sees them.

I hope my last Cadell/Líadan post didn't go on too long. ^^; Though it probably only took up a little while in game-time, it always looks longer in text. Ah well, what can you do?

Yeah. And the tone might tip what happened, or in this case, didn't happen. But she won't even hear about Catli, they rode off. =P

Ankari gets a 20+ CHA check, now Mauve gets a 20+ WIS check. So… Baldhart should be able to do something graceful with a DEX check.

Holy crap! It worked! I wish I had a reason to roll DEX and I didn't name the character Fake Baldhart.


@SP, I don't REALLY wish I had a reason. I'd have to re-roll, and I can't imagine getting this lucky twice.

To be fair, that would've been an 18 if not for her barbarian skill. The +4 is from Primeval Instinct, which I think is the most-used skill in this game.


That, or it's Corruption Save. HAW!

Hahaha, don't worry, I have the feeling that my dice will get rotten as soon I need to roll something serious. Something like Mauve running for her life, needing a DEX check to avoid being tackled by 20 gnolls and BAM! Natural 1.

Also, I have my reasons to believe Rollz enjoys doing some trolling. When I expect to succeed it fails, when I expect a 4 and something, hey, look, a nice roll!


Unrelated P.S.: Unlike the northern hemisphere, tomorrow is the last winter day here. But given the temperature—39ºC (102.2ºF)—it seems the summer is already creeping in, tehee.
