Cadell and Liadan take offense at Mauve's "soft brains" comment. XD You and I both know it wasn't directed at them, but if they were in a position to overhear, they'd certainly ask Mauve to be a bit nicer. Or at least more specific in whom she insults. ^^;

Everyone seems to be enjoying RPing the shopping. If that's the case, I'm happy to continue it. If it's not the case and you guys would rather do it in summary form, please let me know.

I'm happy to keep on with it. It's a nice opportunity for character development, and a much-needed (from the characters' POV) break from constant battling. :D

That's what I figured. That's why the army of Sahuagin in the water is waiting until after you shop to overrun the village.

I don't mind, but I'm worried the others players might be getting bored. Initially I intended to do the complicated parts roleplaying, specifically her spear modification, then speed up the less relevant parts (mirror, food, etc).

P.s.: I don't doubt they'll creep upon the village after the dark. D:

So then you did get berries plural. 2 rolls, both 1s? Chances of two consecutive ones on a d20 are normally 0.25%. On Unseen Servant it's almost guaranteed. I swear I almost always rolled a natural 1 on my first attempt after logging in, which luckily were non-combat STR checks the only time I used that site at all. If Rolz shuts down, I think I'll buy a real d20 and video tape the rolls.

Feline Overlord: Really, Sidekick? The chances of five natural 20s in a row are 0.00003125%. Why does the die land in the exact same spot every time, next to the broken digital clock that always reads 4:35 then changes to 4:36 when the die bounces for the second time? And… yup, box cars. Max damage. Again.

Speaking of insults, here's a deleted line of dialogue from Baldy to Nissa:

"No way a four-year-old could fit into something this small."


This^ happens when Baldy shows Mauve the baby clothes she bought for Nissa, but Nissa would respond and I didn't want to clutter my post (this time). The baby clothes was shopped via PM, but I hinted at it in-game. So there's no confusion, when Mauve sees the dress Baldy takes from her pack, it's clearly for Nissa and way too small to be mistaken for Branwen's. My 11-month-old is taller than Nissa.

Aliron could plink them in the dark with my heart bow from the upstairs window. He does love shooting arrows after dark. (+10 to hit after dark)
Thats on Aliron's shopping list, more arrows. I don't think Aliron has enough money to buy a longbow for Bressel, but he is primary tank not an archer.

Seriously, if they do attack and we save the town, they would say either the elves or Branwen brought them here.

Unseen has done well for me so far.

Aliron might agree with that. Burn Branwen? He definately might just walk away. No, he loves plinking fish in a barrel. He wouldn't leave a chance to shoot countless targets at night that can't get to him.

Nice pic, if he had a shield maybe he's use a Coon as a family symbol, sneaky, plotting, thieves , the perfect animal for him.

I'm curious about something that will quite possibly have an effect on the plot. What time of year is it supposed to be? There was snow on the ground at the ruined temple where we fought the wargs and saved Darin, yet at Arendal SP mentioned grass and berries growing. Also, it would be nice to know how near we are to the solstice (either one), so Liadan knows how long she has to prepare her next sacrifice for Oercus, whether that be in emeralds or a living being.

Must... resist... to have Mauve to asking why on earth would Baldhart wish to melt the berries. Jam would taste better. :x

I think I'll put those badges on the next character update of Mauve, mwahaha!
