We're getting close to the 24-hour mark. I want to give people a chance to post, but I'll move forward in a bit. I'm going to be out of town all weekend and will probably only be around to post twice per day, but I'll get the combat rounds moving forward each time and get a map of what is going on.

The only thing Baldy's readying for is a beating with that lousy roll! Well… I can absorb a blow from the singer, i suppose. I may regret this!

EDIT - I purposely moved close to the new girl to reduce the odds of her getting attacked twice.

I'm torn between having Cadell try to help Darin, or attack the creatures. If Darin is dead (GM forbid!), then I suppose Cadell shouldn't bother...

You can't tell if he's dead or alive from your vantage point. You just saw him pitch forward.

You are a cruel, cruel Feline Overlord. XD I just want to know what Cadell should do! If he chooses to help Darin, he won't get the chance to protect Keit or Ankari, and I want his actions to be worthwhile.

I know. Best he can do is act on the information in front of him. Either one would be in keeping with the acts of a Knight. Things are a bit chaotic and there's a lot of splashing in the water, but maybe you can make a WIS check to see if you can tell whether Darin is still moving?

Well… if Rolz would be nice like it was when I fought lizards, I could help Keit swat that thing out of the sky. As long as Baldy's close to her, I think Keit will hit the singer with her good roll no matter who is attacked, and maybe Baldy will take at least one of the attacks. Not that I want to get clobbered but… darn. Shoulda gone with my plan which still works with a sword in hand.

I could try. Shame WIS isn't a prime for Cadell. I think it's only a 9, too.

If we shut the singer up, Rydh can handle that. I think your chances of a WIS check working are too slim. (20%, if 18 is the target)

Well, it's in-character for him to try. Can I do more than one check per post? Like, a STR check first to try to lift Darin, then a WIS check to see if he's still alive? (I already failed my STR check, so if I can only do one per post, I'll just keep it.)

She's maybe 20 feet up at the start of the round, and maybe 40 to 45 feet away from Mauve. As she comes in to attack, though, she'll be at Mauve's same height and only around 20 feet away.

Sweet! I guess the floating rope can be counted as a "readied" action too?

I wonder if rolling a critical with a non-damaging spell does any good, hahaha!
