I hope the fish-demon thing isn't permanent. Any idea how to get rid of it, if it doesn't wear off eventually? She can't exactly stay on land without asphyxiating, and we don't want to leave her in the lake. :/

On a point of curiosity, Steerpike, is there a limit to how many non-attack actions we can take in a single post? Say, for instance, if Cadell was thrashed around by the fish-demon thing and had to struggle a few times to get up again. (This may or may not actually happen, but it'd be interesting if it did; I personally see Cadell landing almost right on top of the thing in his wild lunge.) A bit like this:
I cry out as the thrashing monster flings me against the wall, and I crumpled to the floor with a groan. I raise my head, then struggle to rise.
((Get up,Bambi Cadell!))
[*insert crappy STR / CON check here*]
Can't... not strong enough. I sink down again with a groan, then grit my teeth and try again.
[*insert second crappy roll*]
They need me. I cannot lie down and die here! Once more, with feeling!
Yes! I rise to my knees, and raise my sword again as I climb to my feet. Truly I am Einion, the Anvil, beaten but never broken.

That's no problems. There are limits to move actions, attacks, and stuff like that for the purposes of acting in battle, but if you want to take dramatic license as in your post above, I think that's great.
