Yeah, well... being way taller than average has its advantages, but there are disadvantages too. I don't know if the real-life 6'9" woman has the same kind of shortened span, but I figure Baldhart's to be somewhere between Andre the Giant's and that 8'11" guy who died at 22.

Way to put Cadell (and me!) on the spot, Mauve. XDD I just PM'd Steerpike asking what I can say about the War. Didn't want to just do a cop-out, "I was hurt and don't remember much of it."

I was afraid that would happen but I simply can't avoid having Mauve asking this question. Blame your "carefree"! xD

But they had a syndrome, that changes a lot of variables.

I should tell Mauve, I will stand beside her against all enemies...until she tries to cast a spell. Then I will step back to enjoy the fireworks, hopefully where they were intended.

Different world; different syndromes...?

I had an arc in mind when I created the character, which went from a shy woman discovering her talent in battle (thanks, Rolz) to unleashing the enraged barbarian within (her least likable phase--I'm happy to cut it short) to preparing to become a valkyrie. Of course, I prefer an in-game death not to shorten the arc, but... at least she's at the third phase so if she dies earlier than planned, she doesn't go down as an angry berserker.

Nissa has an arc of her own. I forget when I had her first describe herself as a "vulture," but I like to have Baldhart and Nissa talk whenever there is fire or a sunrise/set, so that part of Nissa had to come out today because it could and because it fits with Baldhart's "enlightened" phase.

I was thinking about how I play Aliron.

Part-Tyrion Lanister(GOT), Philipe Gastone(LadyHawke), some others.
My humor is a little softer then Tyrions, but Aliron is not a noble.

@LS Oh, so she has something. Poor Baldhart!

@SeverinR Good. Less one she needs to order to get away when casting the better!

I can't remember Gastone's humor, it has been a while since I last saw the movie/read the book.

I was picturing Tyrion's sellsword friend, Bronn. Voice, personality, and the combination of wearing black with light armor, archery expertise and blade-in-the-back swordsmanship.

@LS Yes, I did, but I don't want to believe it. There is always some hope. u.u

@SeverinR I agree with LS, he's leaning towards Bronn's personality, but with a bunch of differences, of course.

I mean, the time of the day the campfire conversation takes place? Evening? ;x

The way of my Characters in my books, I season them with so many personas, That I miss some.
Yes, I can see him now too. When I write, I create the personality with somethings in mind, but so many others that I never realize until I see them again or someone points it out.

I am having trouble keeping the time straight.

Yeah, I know, and sometimes you just didn't have the opportunity to show other aspects of the personality yet.

Oh, the time... can we unify the timeline now, please? Then everyone will be happy. xD

I think it has been, now. Everything's happening in the big shindig around the fire.

In any case, I think it would be best to assume that's where we are chronologically, and proceed from there. Don't think there's anything left in the flashback realm which still requires resolving.

Yup!

Mauve is strolling now, soon she'll return with the staff. Hiljikki will be able to take a look on it. ;D
