Well, Hiljikki's subconscious certainly seems to be leaning in that general direction. It's trying to tell her something, at any rate. Wish she could figure out what that was.… :p

Maybe you should edit in a link. I have no idea what post you're referring to.

I'm going through all the posts now. I'm working under the assumption that Rydh, Ankari, Hiljikki, and Aliron are present for the interrogation of the lizard shaman, and for the peek through the other door that Aliron opened. Those will be handled by PM.

Everything I've heard about tantrums was related to shouting, crying and such actions, making me associate the word to outbursts in general. But then, my English knowledge is quite limited.

P.s.: What do you guys prefer? To consider the Burnbright and Mauve talk happening just after Mauve got up or after the training? Just to avoid too many Burnbright clones around... =P

Well, I've been known to misuse words. I'm no dictionary. ;)

Still, I think your English has been pretty good. I can't think of a post where you didn't get your message across. That's the most important thing.

((While Matthew still doesn't, I'm starting to believe that Baldhart is lying. Look here, directly after this, Burnbright says she will follow Brynhild. And Baldhart says that Burnbright approached her? Yeah right.))
If you really want to know if Baldy's lying, she's not. Here's the post in which Burnbright first makes the decision to follow Brynhild. Prior to that, Baldhart told her about Nissa, but that's because Burnbright wanted to talk about valkyries.

EDIT - If you're going to doubt my character's truthfulness, Burnbright's voiced commitment to a decision that was made earlier in-game isn't proof of Baldhart pushing her into stuff. But you know what could be easily mistaken for proof of that? That Burnbright is wearing blue woad paint!

It's possible that both Baldhart and Sir Matthew are incorrect in this matter.…

What is said is not always what is meant—or at least not what it appears to mean.

Yay for Hiljikki! Also, sometimes she has such a similar line of thought to Mauve, but with the necessary charisma to get the message across, haha.

I'm afraid, however, that Mauve might be kept ignorant to all this information for a while. She's not around them, her next action won't bring her to the discussion either and she didn't knew about the interrogation. It's the price for playing a crybaby. xD

So if the group goes back in with Burnbright, are Mauve and Hiljikki going to go start a wild animal preserve somewhere?

Nihal

Valar Lord
Haha! Mauve wouldn't go to the wilderness, she intends to use the tunnels again, believing it has another entrance. It's a nice shortcut, a way to avoid wargs and goblins when you're not stumbling upon lizards.

((It looks like Steerpike had her listening to that converstation, so this isn't needed and would make little sense to be here.))

Or she might be talking to Mauve during your conversation.

For Hiljikki, yes: barring any surprises which turn up as a result of my most recent PM, she will not have anything to do with taking Burnbright nearer to the underground temple. And she is unlikely to stick around at the temple while everyone else does. Maybe she'll stay there—if so, it will be only out of a sense of duty to the poor horses who've been left chilling (literally) during recent events. Or maybe she'll just leave a note telling the knights they can pick up their steeds at the Hooded Crow's stable. ;)

I have a choice of back-up characters ready. Unfortunately, barring having one blunder in on the group while they're getting ready to plunge back into the depths, I can't see a good way to work either in at this time. So I may end up taking a back seat again for a bit, depending on what everyone else does.

And, of course, Hiljikki can always dream.…

Yea, I saw that post when I was looking for when Baldhart spoke of her becoming a sevant of Brynhild (I qouted it in my post) One page before the post you linked. Talking about how Burnbright must serve Brynhild. Does that sound like she made the decision on her own?

(But Matthew knows none of this. He simply wishes her to study to see if her choice is right for her.)

No, if you look at Steerpike's post. it says
BURNBRIGHT AND MATTHEW AND BALDHART

After beginning her training with Baldhart, Burbright takes to wearing the blue woad paint that Baldhart favors, looking rather proud to be included in that particular tradition. When the subject of faith and swords versus crossbows comes up, she says:

This implies that she was there in the conversation in question.

I don't think there is a real timeline for what's happening. I assume it is all scattered throughout the morning.

Yeah. It might be a good thing, however, to wrap them now since their outcomes are intervening in another conversations.

Anyway, Mauve would love to say a little thing, maybe useful (she suggested it in the past)... But she's not around. Gah!
