Exactly why Baldy tried to get Mauve to shut up. She wouldn't attempt to deceive Gisla for the same reason she was boldly truthful to Calexa: deception only works on idiots, and it's best used on those you plan to kill or flee from.

Baldy actually didn't want anyone to overhear it, really, but being seen whispering is worse than being overheard.

That makes me feel better about how I portrayed Gisla. I wanted to give the impression that while she isn't an intellectual, she is a worldly and savvy former soldier/mercenary. When I misread your intent, I thought maybe I'd given the impression Gisla wasn't very bright.

Hi all, I feel I should explain myself to account for my MIA status.
Over the last week or so I have been absolutely swamped with work, I have had hardly any time to myself and the time I do have I have spent resting.

I just read through the last 3-5 pages of whats been going on and did my best to incorporate my character back into the game from the tavern where he was.
If I have made any mistakes let me know and i will rectify them asap

I'm echoing Cadell's in-game sentiment here. What is he supposed to do while Mauve is taken to the cells? Nobody seems to have taken any notice of him. (Which further reinforces his notion that nobody listens to him... which oddly kinda works out. XD)

Just made a quick post to address it. Cadell isn't accused of anything, and in fact it looks to Gisla and others like he was trying to stop it. He's not a prisoner. The elders won't want him to leave, because they'll want his testimony, but he's a free elf.
