Vanity Google+ URLs Are Live

Greetings folks,

Google+ is now offering vanity URLs instead of the mile long URLs they preassigned everyone. Instead of having something like this:

https://plus.google.com/1059438420811702602433/posts

You now have something like this:

https://plus.google.com/+Callofheroes/

Makes it pretty easy for you to share your profile, or for potential customers to find you.

I think everyone must make a request to get it. There are some small prereqs, which I don't meet because I barely use my g+ account. xD

They are rolling out the vanity URLs now. If you haven't received one, you can expedite the process by calling Google. I got my Call of Heroes vanity URL, but not my personal one.

Here's the requirements:

Ten or more followers
Your account is 30 days old or more
A profile photo

Yeah, the rollout hasn't hit my account yet either. And I use my G+ account way more than any other social media.

I did get it for Long Count Press, though.

Dumb question of someone who didn't go to the end of the G+ Pages creation: Is there some type targeting people? As "Author" or "Artist"?
